  1. As Israel goes, so will go the world. What do we need in this country that we can't really get with some common sense, responsibility and thrift on our own part? We hear about people being in trouble but it's usually because of their own poor choices. Big cities are all in trouble because they choose to entertain liberal issues. Portland is a huge failure because of poor choices that they made and then fought for. Now they want bailed out. Do you want your money sent there or to any other city that is imitating them? So, Israel which have bailed the US out many times (but it usually is downplayed in the news) has been attacked by a group of enemies who already possess their share of a country, but now want someone else's share of that country. The blockade is in place because the Arabs continue to bring weapons in to use on Israel. If they would simply stop all hostilities and go to the peace talks with honest intentions, then the blockade would be lifted. It's THAT SIMPLE but they refuse. Many of them are paid to be fighters, so no fighting, no paycheck! They kill their own people if they in any way refuse to be part of the fighting. Of course, the liberal news will not report it, but the Israeli news reports it every day. Public news sources won't reprint it because it's not the cool thing to do. It's not even about the land, it's because they want all Jews dead! It's a dispute that goes back to a stupid move on the part of Sarah and Abraham. If you choose not to believe the Bible, then read the Koran! Wait, that isn't possible because since it's part of a religious history, it can't possibly be true. So happily remain ignorant of the realities and the written truth no matter where it exists. For some people, the only thing they are intelligent enough to spout is whatever rolls out of their ignorance. For them, nothing exists in this world but what they want for themselves, certainly not peace for everyone, including the Jews.
  2. I failed to update this post when the petition was turned over to the township with 1254 accepted signatures. I'm sure we could have gotten a lot more signatures but everyone was tired and I felt we went over our goal. Thank you to the Sandy Township Petition Group for all their help. I was pleased with the comments we received although there were a few nasty turkeys. No problem. The petition was not for political reasons but because I wanted the people of Sandy Township to have a direct voice on the subject! It felt good and there should be more. The hearing with the judge has been postponed.
  3. I wonder if the news channels will post this information about the hospital explosion. Yet another Arab hate group spring into action killing their own people and blaming it on the Jews. https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/world/the-devastating-gaza-hospital-blast-is-shrouded-in-uncertainty-here-s-what-we-know-and-what-we-don-t/ar-AA1it9c5?ocid=msedgntp&pc=EDGEDSE&cvid=90cf1c6db94344c3a203a03201166208&ei=9
  4. You will never, never ever see Israelis celebrating the dead of the enemy. However, the Arabs have huge maniac celebrations over dead bodies. I don't think I can watch that video because I've seen and read way too much about what happens. It's not for the faint of heart or stomach, but for those who are ignorant of what happens, it may help you understand that Israel is not battling the forces of angry people, they are battling the forces of Satan.
  5. I feel so sorry for the Israeli Army. They work every day with Palestinians (who do have their own country) but still want what was given BACK to the Israelis after it was stolen from them. The Israelis know what it is like to not have a home, and they work daily to get along with the Arabs who still live inside of their country. I have friends who have visited Kubutzes and worked there for months. Arabs came and went as long as they worked and were peaceful. Jews do not dare to step out of their own part of the country on pain of kidnapping, torture and death. Israeli soldiers have to make daily life and death decisions when allowing anyone to cross their borders. Now they have had to trap the entire Gaza Strip inside (although they said they would allow the inhabitants to leave in case it is destroyed. They could just blast it all into oblivion if they chose, but no, they are trying to stop the fighters without harming innocent citizens. Ask any American soldier how easy that is. Ask the Arabs if they gave Israeli citizens the same choice when they invaded and killed everyone they could find, and this has been going on for decades. Yet some crazies think it's the fault of the Israelis?
  6. Sometimes you just have to delete totally negative forces from your life, and this is one of them.
  7. Those 33 people were voting on behalf of 33 nations of the WORLD!! And IF you can read a map, you will see that a huge portion of Palestine was given to the Arabs who did nothing with it but let it rot and used it as a jumping off place from which to attack their own people and others. They have also begged the world for money while the Jews supported their own people. They brutally murder their own women and anyone who commits any kind of religious sin. They are still one of the most uncivilized peoples in the world. I would again suggest that you read The Haj and the Kiterunner to get the full view of what their daily lives are like. If they truly want peace then why do they not show up with fair discussions at the Peace talks? They don't, and when it was obvious they never intended to cooperate with a peaceful solution, then the rest of the world gave up. The only thing that continues is their violence and spoiled children demands for "I want it all!".
  8. OK, past history means nothing to you, nor do books based on history. How about today's news? (1) Israel-Hamas war live updates: Gaza still in dire crisis as Israel readies attack by ‘air, sea and land’ (nbcnews.com)
  9. The current fight is over the Israeli blockade and has been going on for years. It exists because Hamas keeps shooting missles into Israel. If they ever stop their violence and turn up at the peace talks, then the blockade could possibly be lifted. I think the last time the talks were attempted, it was Trump. Since then........nothing. I'm sure the Gaza Strip citizens are frustrated but they need to remember that a lot of their vital support comes directly from Israel. They just can't import or export anything that could be used for warfare. Tough love!!!! They want it all or nothing and look where it has gotten them. Peaceful Palestinians still live in Jerusalem and many come in daily from the Gaza Strip to work. Now I assume Hamas has screwed that up too.
  10. I would work for PEACE! That would be regardless of who controlled whatever. I posted HISTORICAL FACT right from the UN and other sources. WHAT Bible history, but then I guess I didn't realize the depths of your refusal to READ!!

  15. OK Fed Up, check the rest of the story above, pre-Ottoman rule. The Israelites ruled that country BCE. There were no Palestinians, just roaming bands of Bedouins who owned nothing and chose to live that way.
  16. Facts About Israel: History The birthplace of the Jewish people is the Land of Israel. There, a significant part of the nation's long history was enacted, of which the first thousand years are recorded in the Bible. 2010 Edition Section of an illuminated late-medieval map of the Tribes of Israel (Courtesy R. Ben-Haim) זכר ימות עולם בינו שנות דור ודור... - דברים ל"ב:ז Remember the days of old, consider the years of many generations... (Deuteronomy 32:7) The birthplace of the Jewish people is the Land of Israel (Eretz Yisrael). There, a significant part of the nation's long history was enacted, of which the first thousand years are recorded in the Bible; there, its cultural, religious, and national identity was formed; and there, its physical presence has been maintained through the centuries, even after the majority was forced into exile. During the many years of dispersion, the Jewish people never severed nor forgot its bond with the Land. With the establishment of the State of Israel in 1948, Jewish independence, lost 2,000 years earlier, was renewed. Archeology in Israel involves the systematic investigation of all the remains of the country's past - from prehistory to the end of Ottoman rule. The profusion of material remains is evidence of the many cultures that have left their imprint on the Land. Above all archeological research clearly reveals the historical link between the Jewish people, the Bible and the Land of Israel, uncovering the remains of the cultural heritage of the Jewish people in its homeland. These visible remains, buried in the soil, constitute the physical link between the past, the present and the future of the Jewish people in its country. This unbroken chain of history can be observed at sites all over the country. Jerusalem, the capital of Israel, has been the focus of extensive archeological activity and remains of 5,000 years of history have been revealed. TIMELINE OF HISTORICAL HIGHLIGHTS 17th-6th C. 17. Gee, they created the state of Israel out of thin air. Hmmmm! Interesting that it was called Israel in the Old Testament and Palestine was divided in to Judah and Israel. Maybe SA Hoover could dig into the pre-Ottoman status of Israel. It existed even before the Ottomans.
  18. I want to know exactly which restaurant because when employees refuse to truthfully answer the police, they certainly aren't someone I want to support. The only one I know opening on the Boulevard is in the old McDonalds. Is there another one that I don't know of?
  19. Also, most trees produce lots of fruit every other year, not every year. If you get a heavy crop one year then the tree will have a very light or non-existent crop the next year. Of my five, only one produced well this year but the other four dropped all of their apples early in the spring. They were not able to replace enough carbs in their roots to replace what they expended last year so once they were fertilized, they dropped what they knew they could not finish.
  20. I did not call you a liar, you're just uneducated. The books I mentioned are based on history and were best sellers for years. I'm sure the political history is convoluted and tailored to represent exactly what Truman wanted people to remember. Every president or political tries writing a book in an attempt to explain away how things that turned out was or wasn't their fault. Very little of it conforms to actual history. Remember Hillary's "It takes a Village". Sure. Read what the common man wrote for all the world to judge, then read some more. Soon you'll see a pattern of truth. It's hard to create a story that agrees with other authors when based on lies. History can't be changed for those who have no reason to change it. Truth is far more interesting than fiction.
  21. OH, and just in case you decide to read, try books such as the Haj and The Kite Runner. They're about Palestinians and how they treat their own people.
  22. The land that you think was given to them was given to them by GOD, they then conquered and civilized it, shared it with anyone who chose to be peaceful, and built it into historic cities. Then the Romans destroyed and burned everything they could find, murdered many and transported the rest to other countries as slaves and exiles. They were not permitted to return to the country that they owned. The Palestinians who were basically Bedouins, living in tents, allowed the land to degrade into swamps and desert. They destroyed huge olive groves to starve people, killed off flocks of animals, burned fields and terrorized their own people. When the Jews started coming back after being killed in pogroms in foreign countries, with everything they owned being stolen, not permitted to hold jobs or live in their own houses, American and worldwide Jews and Christians build a fund to buy land by deed. It then belonged to the Jews, twice! Again, the Palestinians killed and destroyed their homes taking the money and trying to take back the land. The Jews finally fought back and when they backed Egypt into a corner of that country, instead of violence, they simply held the line till the UN took notice. The UN simply returned land that they legally owned, while giving back land that was indefensible. They tried to be fair but it was impossible since Jews are builders, and anything they own, they better so the previous owners then wish they had it back. Whole communities of modern Jewish buildings were simply taken away and given back to the Palestinians for free. Others, they fought for and kept legally. The Palestinians are still fighting to get back what was bought from them and developed. They do NOT own it, and they do not improve where they live, or live peacefully with their neighbors. They were given the Gaza Strip so they would have a seaport of their own in order to develop businesses, but they prefer the profits of war versus hard work and good ethics. Israel is one of the countries that sends aid to the needy in Gaza. Not every Palestinian is so stupid. Many of them see the reality and try to work with Israel, just to be murdered along with their families on a daily basis. You never hear about it but it goes on continually and they have no way to get justice. Thes ones killing their own people and attacking the Jews are hardened criminals and uneducated individuals. Women in particular are still tortured and killed for something as simple as giggling at the wrong time or letting their burka slip half an inch. You willingly spout untruths and idiocy that damages those who read and have no idea what is truly going on. How does that improve our world? Tell me about the dangers of ignorant and misled people.
