That's one of the best things you can do besides making a close friend with your garden plants so you can see when they are not right and do something about it before there is permanent damage.
Want to do a Bio Char workshop at your house?  I'd be happy to present it for you and any friends.

The Amish don't sanitize everything that touches them from the time they are born, so their immune systems are built to protect them.  They still get sick, but their immune system has been prepped by every other bug they have ever run into and not took an antibiotic for.  When a strange bug hits their body, there's something somewhere in the mix ready to attack the invader because a cousin of it has already been there.  COVID is a cousin of the common cold.

Unless a dog park is supervised, the vaccination status is not necessary.  However, up to date rabies vaccine is always a must.

Tractor Supply has them (1 year) for $40 depending on the weight of your dog.  It's early afternoon on every other Sunday.  They will no longer go to your car if you have a large or difficult dog.  You must be able to get them into the building yourself.

The building alarm should have been reset also.  How did Toni get in to find the money cache to begin with when this was already a criminal investigation?

BEFORE any new councilmen are placed on the board, the city voters should be allowed to set up what the councilmen get, and WHAT THEY DON'T.  Giving them all of these extensive rewards opens them to pressure on votes and makes them bend to pressure in order to keep their job.  Council isn't about a job, it's about service to the community!

The original family was Ed, Joe, Grace, John, Louis, Francis and a couple more whose names I can't remember.
Ed was a lawyer (extremely honorable) and served as the City Solicitor.  I think, 4 children, 3 girls, one last boy.  Toni is his daughter.  At least one of her sisters work with her.
Joe was like the head of the family, earning money and making sure the kids all got educations in good jobs.
Grace was a nurse for Dr LJ Cherry a well know General Practitioner and Surgeon in our area.  There was another sister also.
Francis dealt with financial matters.  He even went to homes to do taxes.
John was Judge John Cherry, an extraordinary man and legal entity with a beautiful heart.
I am proud to have known all of them.  They worked hard and were for the common man, not the high and mighty.  They were all very personable, kind, hard-working and would even come to a barn dance or housewarming if invited.
Most of the grandchildren have soaked into the woodwork of life other than Judge Paul Cherry.
Toni was raised to be elegant, socially accepted anywhere, well-educated but does not seem to have followed some of the traits of her family.  She seems to be more driven, stressed and private.  When Herm first asked her to become the City Solicitor, she refused (according to the newspaper).  For some reason she finally agreed.  Now she is here, in the news, possibly in a pile of trouble, definitely a mess.
    Just my memories and opinion.

As is historical, many small towns lacked funds to pay firemen.  Sometimes just keeping the insurance and equipment is a strain.  Be grateful for the volunteers, who are all well trained, for their time and effort.

By the legal system well above DuBois entities.  I believe this will actually reach into the state level before it is done.

They are seeking attention, so if it makes them feel better, then they just follow the crowd and do it regardless of how it really makes them look, just like tattoos, smoking, drinking, etc.

Faith was anointed for her healing today at church by a member on her behalf.  Like some in Jesus' time who were healed simply by touching His robe or others who asked for healing on someone else's behalf, I hope this proves a blessing for her pain. We listen weekly for the good news of her healing.

Me too, many times over.  They are conscientious, skilled and have a great sense of humor at all the right times!  Sorting out his nonsense correctly means a lot to them, emergency services and our police also.
My daughter's tiny Jack Russel Terrier always crawled into tight spaces and groundhog holes, and eventually got caught underneath a concrete floor in our wood shop, TWICE!!.  There was no way for us to reach her and it was getting later in the day.  We finally had to call the fire company to see if they could help.  Cars of volunteers and police showed up.  I was almost embarrassed to death because they had to stay for hours. When I apologized for the umpteenth time, they said not to worry, it gave them a chance to use equipment they need to practice with.  They worked hard and finally rescued her from where her collar had gotten snagged on a piece of rebar, and they all laughed and cheered when she finally came out with a very dirty and tired volunteer.
It was wonderful to see them working together with such dedication and humor even over a tiny little dog.  They said to call them again if we needed them, and behold, it did, and they came laughing.  We made a project of hunting up any holes and sealing them thoroughly.  Didn't want them having too much fun!   No telling what else could have been under there.  We always took off her collar when she came to visit after that, and till we sealed the holes, my husband would watch Bentley and the groundhog that was making the holes run in one side of the floor and come out the other side, alternately chasing each other.

In the past, they have discouraged some of the smaller organizations in DuBois from having booths there.  It would be nice to see more locals selling interesting foods.
