I've never been a fan of the 'Gypsies'...
They are posers.
They always will be.
The person that works and gets their hands dirty, and has callouses on their hands, and blisters on their thumbs are the REAL people in this world.
The Gypsy will stand by the 'Thug' for eternity; their bond goes way back... way back to the mid 1960s.
I have never trusted him, or her.
NOT EVER, and I'm not a spring chicken.
Might I say; my family has known the gypsy and thug since the mid 60s as well.
 

I just watched Jennifer's video she puts out everyday and am shocked and saddened by what she said.
She was accused of buying votes with her promotional giveaways which she has done in the past as well. i cannot believe how ignorant and asinine theses clowns are that you have running your community.
News flash to the morons who accused her of this not all those people who watch her videos live in DuBois but we do however frequent her business.
I like how she also called out the power hungry solicitor in the vid haha
 
On a side note I know that if I was running for something and got threatened etc. I would hunt you down and make you pay.

Major Source confirms for me this morning that indeed the City of DuBois has made at least one payment on behalf of our on-leave City Managers legal fees.
 
Vote was March 27th. The vote was 4-1 to approve the payment.
 
Currently our City Council approves receipts in an envelope but do not tell us what's in it or the amount of the bills. (That clearly needs to change.)
 
I'm baffled why they didn't want to answer Jennifer Jackson's question last night  
 
The source absolutely cares about our city and wants to do the right thing for the people of our city.
 
Jennifer still has a right to know filed with the city so we will wait for that info as well.

Trzyna was not a horrible city manager. He did a good job while he was there and moved on to something better. He is speaking up because he knows more about the job than most of us would since he once did it.

After reading the Courier article, it appears that Ron Trzyna is very emotionally vested into this.  Is this sour grapes for himself being a horrible city manager and quitting on the city?

Just got home from tonight's city council meeting. I had heard what i'm going to say earlier today. A question was asked by a person giving the council notice that there is knowledge that the city of DuBois has paid almost 250K to Herms attorneys for his defense so far. Naturally the council would not reply because it needs to be asked in a different manner. Called the right to know. See what happens next.

This is small potatoes compared to the money that allegedly is gone!

No one would ever discredit what the Down to Earth Garden Club has done for DuBois, or the way it has been done.  The problem is communication and doing it efficiently and gently.  Individuals are the problem here, not the groups.
There is no need for this "It's mine, it's yours!"   It should be "It's ours and we do it as an example for the kids!"  Our children need to see how disagreements are handled, and this isn't working for them.  Approach the problem in cooperation instead of competition.  Remember, the community and the kids are learning from your actions.

In my "never to be humble" opinion...the people that are attacking this kind and generous lady are very afraid of her. There are VERY FEW folks that have never made poor judgments, in their youth, but to have the courage to overcome those judgments is rare. I would vote for Jen Jackson in a heartbeat over the current crop of city government officials that appear to be corrupt or incompetent or both.
You go Jen!!! Don't let them intimidate you!!

Wish I lived in DuBois to write her name in. Like I said before I do not know her personally. I have only purchased flowers from her shop and just did recently and had them delivered to my wife for our anniversary.
You want change then get the word out DuBois there are three write in candidates and you can write their names in both Republican and Democrat ballots.
Pat Reasinger for Mayor
Jennifer Jackson for city council
Elliot Gelfand for city council

Especially complaining  about having a property she owns reassessed. Many property owners have done that and you are stupid not to do it.   

I hear "the establishment" is mounting a smear campaign against at least one of the write-in candidates for "sins" committed over 30 years ago. 
The woman owned her mistake--which turns out to not be a mistake given the outcome.  And has been honest and forthright about other mistakes or missteps she has made.
The only perfect human died on the cross.  
Shame on those that would attempt to disparage her.  I would rather work with someone that can own their mistakes than attempt to cover them up.

Does anyone think that anyone on the city council actually checked the figures?  A small group audit is very time consuming and detailed.  How would they know if what they were handed was right?

And when the government produces the paper trail in court, these two, especially MS. Cherry going to look like the fools at the kings party. Sounds like a cover job. What happened here is they let the King run unabated and  now you pay the piper for his indulgence. MS Cherry should be put under oath when this starts. Look for her to delay forever. Like she always does. Refusal to appear with a subpoena before a Grand Jury isnt going to sit well in the trial.  Especially when the Feds take their crack with 6 years of fradulent taxes.  No surprise. Everybody is CYA. That's why they all need cleaned out. The only one you dont hear about is Jim Aughenbaugh.

No mention of the $60,000 yearly garbage payments to the city  that the should of been placed into a city account for disbursement. 

Those mean investigators, they don't know anything.

The Gypsy still doesn't think anything is wrong. And she feels slighted she wasn't asked to testify in front of the grand jury.

We would have to buy her a new set of knee pads.

the article said the document is still sealed even after herm was arrested.  Must be more bombs gonna be dropping.
