  1. I love it at the 30 second mark when the hummingbird does a barrel roll in midair to get away from the bee.
  2. Keep watching until you see the thousands and thousands of butterflies. http://www.youtube-nocookie.com/embed/xHkq1edcbk4?rel=0
  3. That's so sad that three families lost multiple members. I never heard of this before.
  4. Hubby saw someone filling cans three months ago so this time he took ours and did that too. Our car's gas tank is only 15 gallons.
  5. I wonder if it's some kind of pear tree? Go down to her November 11th entry. They look the same. http://truesgiftsfromtheheart.blogspot.com/
  6. But MOST of the leaves are shaped like spades and not like maple leaves.
  7. What kind of trees are these. They have been gorgeous for weeks!
  8. Aww....I was all excited to see Clarko and then I realized it was from a year ago.
  9. I took the tour of Millionaires Row during the Lumber Boom Festival years ago. They were SO amazing inside!
  10. Aren't these amazing!? Are any of them still around?
  11. This is the first time I ever heard of this. I wonder why nobody talks about it?
  12. I got a rose bush for Mother's Day and it is so amazing. Some flowers are coral pink and some are orange and it just keeps blooming and blooming.
  13. I like how "caring for your community" changed to "turning on a person in your community" in a heartbeat.
  14. Maybe a volunteer secretary could call the last names on the headstones to see if their children or grand children want to help take care of their cemetery.
  15. If you jog or ride your bike around the curve by Keller Brother's Dry cleaning you are taking your life into your hands. There is NO room between the cars and the curb as you head towards Sheetz.
  16. 2007: http://www.americantrails.org/resources/fedfund/MakeRTPwork.html The demand for projects is very heavy in Pennsylvania. Last we received 67 applications with a total project cost of over $6.5 million and requesting over $4.1 million in grant funds. We were able to fund 39 of those projects. Pennsylvania is very fortunate in that we received slightly more than $1.0 million in federal TEA21 funds for the Recreational Trails Program. Last year the Pennsylvania State Legislature also gave the program another $1.0 million to fund recreational trails projects. As a result, we were able to provide over $2.0 million for Recreational Trails Projects. The Legislature has provided another $1.0 million for the current grant round as well. Another exciting event in Pennsylvania is the new Growing Greener funding program, which will provide adding funding for the planning, acquisition and development of all types of conservation and recreation projects, including recreational trails. This new initiative will actually allow us to expand the scope of recreational trail projects that can be funded. Trail organizations will now be eligible to apply for planning or feasibility studies, which is currently not allowed under the federal Recreational Trails program.
  17. That reminds me....the stocking truck comes through DuBois tomorrow.
