We are told not to leave standing water so mosquitos don't breed and then we are told to set out watering stations for the bees. It is hard to know what is best. Our Russian Sage was absolutely covered with bees this summer so that is probably a good plant to have if you want bees.

Why does every thread have to turn into an argument or put down? I'm sure we can all agree that there are both needy people and needy animals out there. We should be praying for each and every one of them and trying to help wherever we can.

Things like this just make me sooo mad! How could any human being be so cruel? If you can't take care of them, then give them to someone who can.

I like it straight out of the bag/crock/can. Sugar ruins it! It is then no longer "sauer"krout! It is sweet krout.

Do the purple tomatoes taste like the reds? They are very pretty to look at.

Tomatoes, zucchini, and onions doing very well. We used to have a huge garden but have downsized greatly. Getting too old but still enjoy "dabbling".
