I'm sure the FBI will also be auditing the books of Waste Management.  

Much damage has already been done to this area and if convicted, the public must demand full disclosure of everyone involved.  There are parties on the peripheral that may not have done anything illegal (assuming a conviction), but they certainly should have known something was not right.  If the indicted are found guilty, I certainly hope the city pursues a civil trial to claw back identified money (this is in addition to criminal penalties).

Sounds like the counsel agreed to pay up to $10,000 attorney fees to anyone that's been subpoenaed to the grand jury.  That also includes any subpoenaed volunteer fireman.  The current solicitor felt it would be unwise to let them be questioned without talking to an attorney first.  Sounds like people are getting scared.  People who have done something wrong would want to talk to an attorney.  People who are protecting important people who have done something wrong would want to talk to an attorney.  People who have done nothing wrong and aren't preceding anyone don't need to talk to an attorney.  Just tell the truth.

I did hear yesterday that the current mayor and the head of the public works for the city have been subpoenaed and have to appear on Tuesday Nov 14 in Pittsburgh at the federal courthouse in front of i believe is a grand jury. 

Even more Attorney feas going to the city`s defense for these two ; whom they associated with the one and only manager who supposedly was embellezing funds while on the clock ( for many years ) and are these feas collected by the city`s own attorney ??? ........ it all smells ...... if true !!

I agree everyone has a right to due process. Still, there is every indication of lots of improper acts as we all agree. My question is when will these additional arrests come? Does the two-tier justice system so prevalent in our country apply to City officials too? One admitted in public to obstructing an investigation, yet nothing has happened. I am frustrated, discouraged, and angry.

Past DuBois city council member who resigned after she made a motion to fire the disgraced solicitor and no one else would second her motion. And she is the sister of a Pittsburgh attorney that received a voice mail from our disgraced solicitor asking him to keep his sister under control. She has been the only person in this drawn out saga with this mess that has shown any kind of backbone.

As far as the likelihood for alcohol to play a part in ATV highway operation.  I always felt that if I see a herd of ATV's running the road in single file at 3 am - traveling at over 50 mph - that they are not on way to early church services.  I didn't fall off the turnip truck yesterday either.

Twp and city’s would have to have Ins to cover their butts in case of cracks or bumps or other issues because of hungry lawyers that think they are at fault. You know the way the world is it’s everyone s fault but mine.

The police chief of DuBois at the council meeting last night it would be on Tuesday Oct 31 from 6 until 8. The parade will be at 5 starting from Shankles

I would have to guess that the contract could be declared null and void in certain situations.  I believe there are to be three elements to a contract.  Offer/acceptance/consideration.  The consideration would be the key here that could negate the contract.  What is the party in question here providing that holds value to the city?  As of now the only thing they are providing nothing but embarrassment.
I'm sure a mind more brilliant than mine could find a loophole for "the contract".  
While I agree that citizens are innocent until proven guilty--but at what cost to the citizens?  If that was you or I, we would be spending our nights inside of a cell.  Not collecting a paycheck in the comfort of our own homes without the responsibility of earning said paycheck, while someone else pays for my legal representation.  

At least we are aware of her "financial interests"--unlike those that are currently in the spotlight.  
Ms. Jackson will not abuse her authority.  I am 100% confident of that.  

We definitely need people like these two plus our write ins from the primary in DuBois to take over. It will be nice to have truthful transparency people in office.
