I would like to be able to vote for none of the candidates. I not talking about just this election but other races too.

I did go online and read the paper. I have taken advantage of the online version when traveling. A few of my friends don’t like it but things change. A Pittsburgh paper quit printing daily quite a few years ago.

I understand why you want a clean sweep but let's wait for the new City Council members and Mayor decide what really needs to happen. There are too many moving parts to just fire all the department heads at this point and their contracts or articles of employment need to be examined.

Neither one of our two highest elected officials can read from a prepared speech....Impeach them both!

Now gas is $3.55 at Sheetz on the B line in DuBois. I leave town for a few days and regular jumps from $3.38 to $3.55, Why?

Why would he even agree to speak knowing there could be a problem!

My question about the whole $270,000 is that just the retainer fee or is it for work that the law firm has already done.

 I know that a law firm that specializes in civil law charges somewhere in the $300 per hour range for the lawyers time. What does a good criminal lawyer charge per hour?

I for one hope that this event doesn’t move or leave DuBois. The loss of the business could be the end of a few local establishments.

Petee , I have always wondered who wrote the obituaries you are referring to. When we prearranged our funerals we also included a draft of what we wanted in our obituary. That way our children can edit it without too much effort. 

Trying to get the details of one’s life for a good obituary at a sad time isn’t fair for the survivors.

The DuBois Area Historical Society has City Directories that go back to the early 20th century.
