Not sure what type of rep she is for the people, but I can say one thing. Before they open their mouths, they should make sure what they are saying are facts. Because we are all gonna check.

You can't pay too much attention to polls. It depends on the group of people they are polling. It's best to ignore them. As for voting, I was sure about whom I wanted in office, but now, not. I will have to do some serious soul searching before the election. I may vote for the lesser evil, perhaps, or maybe not at all.

Let's clarify. The President did not make Easter Sunday in general a "Transgender Day of Visibility." He did that for the date of March 31. This year, Easter happened to fall on the same day. It was in very poor judgement for him to declare the "visibility" day on this year's Easter Sunday. Shame on him! Next, I do not agree that we should have a transgender "visibility" day. I don't see us getting male day, female day, etc. It's not necessary and not needed. I feel this is a ploy for him to get votes from this particular community. I guess we shouldn't be surprised. Just more of the same from him.

Aliens in our country should not have the right to vote until they are citizens. They know nothing about this country and how things run, and need to be indoctrinated in just as others have been in the past and go through the proper steps for full citizenship. After that, they can have at it! I have no problem with helping folks if they are fleeing persecution, but the U.S.A. is now overwhelmed and borders need to be closed until we handle the current influx. Some of those in the influx need sent back and are criminals. The rest need properly processed. Then we can go back to running things properly and giving folks paths to citizenship on a reasonable basis. Only so many a year should be let in. What has happened is ridiculous.

Everyone who votes needs to provide a photo ID and needs to be registered. If not, no vote. I don't see why this is so hard to attain! Even those without driver's licenses have photo ID's! Even if someone doesn't have one, there are other ways to prove ID.

If this is true, I won't be eating any more of their nuggets. Taking jobs away from folks who are trying to support their families who are already here and giving them away to others is wrong.

I've been thinking about quitting FB myself. But I have become so reliant on it for friend and family news and staying in touch with folks. I have to admit I have gotten closer to relatives and old friends this way. And my church has their own page and group, so I can stay abreast of what's going on there, too. It accomplishes a lot of good in my life, so I'm tempted to keep it for that reason. Also, lost animals can be found by posting on there. I don't like the invasive things that come across my feed, though. The suggestive-looking, almost xrated trash that once in awhile appears. I can get rid of some items but not all of them. Makes me mad.

Lately, I feel so disgusted that I think about just not voting; but then I feel that I would not be doing my duty properly as a U.S. citizen.

Just wondered about folks' thoughts regarding last night's speeches. The President promises some good things, but he had a lot of time to accomplish them and didn't. And I'm tired of the Republicans being blamed for not being willing to help with the crisis at the border. Mr. Johnson didn't agree either, it appeared, as it showed on his face throughout the night. Mr. Biden had almost 4 years to deal with the border, also. Katie Britt gave a confident speech. That's all I got. What say you?

I can't imagine doing such a thing to this dear lady. They apologized, but the damage is done! So sad. Whoever made that decision and sent the email should consider stepping down. What other bad decisions have they made?

We need to let this play out. I have never heard a bad word about the Chief, and I know he is a good family man. He risked his own life and almost died when he went in a residence to try to save a lady who ended up committing suicide in past months. I say lets give him the benefit of the doubt. There are all kinds of reasons for folks being put on leave. We are fortunate to have a man willing to do this job. Not many want to work in law enforcement these days.

That is a nice salary. I personally think its high, but what do I know. I went to College and got an ASB degree and now I work for a family company. I don't make that kind of money at all, but I'm content. I love my job. Maybe if I would have gotten more education I could have attained a bigger paying job. I will say that my kids graduated from Penn State DuBois with 4 year degrees, and they are both doing great and tuition was reasonable in DuBois. No housing to pay for either. So I'm pretty happy with Penn State because of that. Kiddos got the skills needed for their careers and they are self supporting. What really gets me is the money that news anchors make on the big networks and the money some athletes make. That is really outlandish. Does anyone really need that amount of money? And you can't say they earn it, because its way too much. Sorry. And don't get me started about various government officials! You know who we ought to pay more? Those who are putting their lives on the line every day. Our police, rescue personnel, and military! Ok, I'm done now.

What upsets me is that Biden has waited until now to try and pass legislation to control the border. He had all this time. He has waited until now to try to be the big hero for election time. And he condemns Trump and the Republican lawmakers that they want to wait until the new President takes over. Apparently the deal is not good, or they would pass it. And where has the VP Harris been all this time? I thought she was in charge of the border crisis. I haven't seen that she has done diddly.

This little one is just adorable! Hope she had a wonderful birthday!

I also don't like the idea of electric vehicles because of the fact that if someone decides to turn off the electric, then we can't go anywhere. Hmmm, can you think of who may do that? I can!

I know Trump can get the job done. He's proved it. I just wish he would keep his mouth shut sometimes, and just take the high road. If he did, he could get some respect back from more Republicans and maybe even some Democrats. I have no problem with his being President, even if they convict him of some of the crimes they are after him for. You're not gonna get perfection. Alot of our government people are guilty of crimes they haven't been prosecuted for any how in one way or another. They are just after him because they don't want him in there. I really liked Ron, but Nikki is O.K. I really think she would make a good Vice President, and I think Trump should ask her to reconsider being his running mate. If he gets in, I worry that they will constantly hammer on him so that nothing will be accomplished. But he is still the best bet now that Ron quit. Call it what you want, but I think we still need a man for President. We have a lot of great knowledgeable, strong women, but a man sends a message to our adversaries better than a woman. Just my 2 cents.

Ya, I hear you. One item you talked about was the electric cars, which struck a cord with me. Seeing the people on the news whose cars can't hold a charge very long in the cold weather lined up at the charging stations was very enlightening. Guess they didn't think of the colder climate places. Gonna be a long time before I ever decide to purchase one of those. Hopefully, never!
