    SO NOW, AFTER

I know Trump can get the job done. He's proved it. I just wish he would keep his mouth shut sometimes, and just take the high road. If he did, he could get some respect back from more Republicans and maybe even some Democrats. I have no problem with his being President, even if they convict him of some of the crimes they are after him for. You're not gonna get perfection. Alot of our government people are guilty of crimes they haven't been prosecuted for any how in one way or another. They are just after him because they don't want him in there. I really liked Ron, but Nikki is O.K. I really think she would make a good Vice President, and I think Trump should ask her to reconsider being his running mate. If he gets in, I worry that they will constantly hammer on him so that nothing will be accomplished. But he is still the best bet now that Ron quit. Call it what you want, but I think we still need a man for President. We have a lot of great knowledgeable, strong women, but a man sends a message to our adversaries better than a woman. Just my 2 cents.
  2. Ya, I hear you. One item you talked about was the electric cars, which struck a cord with me. Seeing the people on the news whose cars can't hold a charge very long in the cold weather lined up at the charging stations was very enlightening. Guess they didn't think of the colder climate places. Gonna be a long time before I ever decide to purchase one of those. Hopefully, never!
  3. I voted, too! The art work on the plows is really great! Love to see the kids doing this.
  4. I say we will get about 3 to 4 inches, and most of it will come Saturday evening. They say it will be a quick mover. I hope so. What are you all hearing and predicting?
  5. I think Fed up is asking a question--What makes you stop demanding the truth and just accepting what you are told by others that is presented as the truth without question? Am I correct?
  6. They probably don't want people riding through there in buggies and ATV's year round. Just my guess.
  7. I watched a news program yesterday on FOX where a rancher says he is really worried about cartel scouts and terrorists coming across his property now. They are all dressed in camo. MS13 tattoed gang members knocked at his door to use the phone. His wife was afraid and didn't let them in, but left sandwiches for them outside to eat. The rancher was an older man and looked to be in his seventies. He said he used to see border patrol on his land, but hasn't seen them for 3 months. Seems our government is doing diddly right now to protect our borders. These are just random thoughts, but I really wonder if this is their plan. To get all these folks into our country, give them citizenship, and then they will be "voters" for the current regime. Soon they will be moving them into the local hotels and housing them. They are doing that in the cities. Heck, the old Holiday Inn in DuBois could use some business. No one stays there. Who is to say the government couldn't pay them mucho bucho and move those folks right in? Aren't they already housing them in Philipsburg at the Mo Valley Processing Center? I have no problem at all with helping folks, but this influx of immigrants is wrong. We need to take care of the folks that are already here. Our country is in horrible debt, and the working people are paying for it all. How much longer can we do it? How can we support all these extra mouths to feed? The 2024 election can't come fast enough for me.
  8. The land the foreigners are buying up is purchased. Lots of farmland, too. China is involved.
  9. I agree with Lizard. And unless they have a warrant and probable cause, they best stay off someone's property. I think it is good to buy property to enjoy the outdoors. I myself have done this. Foreign countries have purchased large amounts of our land out west and elsewhere. Best for Americans to buy as much of it up as we can to safe guard our freedoms.
  10. If he is a hunter, he should know the difference between a dog and coyote. I think there may be more to this story.

    We pay

I agree with alot of what Constitutionalist says. I do think we need to still help other countries, but not to the extent we are. I think there should be a limit. If we don't help anyone, no one at all will coming running to help us if we need it.
  12. I agree, they really need to make an example of this person. Theives are getting way too bold and it has to stop.
  13. She is just precious! I saw on FB how she is working on moving her legs and responding to her physical therapist. She is doing a great job! So proud of her!
  14. Did anyone else get a squall alert on their phone? I did a few minutes ago. Squall near Brookville, and looks like its projected path is along I-80 to beyond Snow Shoe. Parts of northern Jefferson and Northern Clearfield Counties, too. Warning is until 1 p.m. Be careful out there folks.

    We pay

This kind of stuff never used to spread like this. We didn't have the communication and technology to spread it. I enjoy the use of modern technology. It can be used for a lot of good. But a lot of bad comes along with it.

    We pay

Two more good points. I just feel badly that innocents are being killed. I suppose our government feels that if we let this happen, trouble could come to roost here eventually. And if we fight it there, we won't have to fight it here?

    We pay

You have a point. So what is the solution to this?
  18. fo When folks go too fast down the road like that, and at 3 a.m., they ruin it for the rest of us riders who are law abiding. So, because of a few lawbreakers, the rest of us will not be able to enjoy. Sad. That seems to happen with a lot of things, not just UTV riding. Not sure why you needed to make a snide "turnip truck" remark. I've just been commenting on this and not meaning to offend anyone else who is commenting. We can all get in on a conversation and not make comments like that.
  19. People's brains are not fully developed until the age of 25, I've read, so life altering decisions such as a sex change shouldn't be made at least until then. I personally don't agree with gender changes. I feel that if we are born a certain gender, that is what we are. God made us. However, if someone decides to make this change, they need to be a mature adult. Kids don't have that capacity. Heck, even an 18 year old really doesn't have everything they need mentally and experience wise to make a lot of the decisions in this life. I know at 18 I thought I knew everything. Turns out I didn't know squat. By 25 though, I definitely knew more, and was more capable of understanding life's more complicated issues. Back in the past, 18 year olds were much more mature, but they had grown up in hard times and were in their own households, married with children by then! Not so now! When I was young, I hated my first name and if you would have told me I could have it changed, I certainly would have! Now that I'm older, I love my name and am so glad it's mine! I would have regretted changing the name my parents gave me. Not the same as gender, but you get the point. It angers me that there are people out there who tell kids that they are the wrong sex and support them in changing their gender. We need to fight this type of thing with all that is in us. Kids should not be told anything of the like. They need to be loved and cared about and have their basic needs met and given good childhoods and educations. None of this gender change talk should even be spoken about with them. When they grow up, if they are not happy, they will have the freedom to change things. However, I think most will grow up and mature and find out they like themselves just how they are. Especially if they have been supported by loving parents, family, and friends, teachers, and their church family throughout their lives.
  20. Folks would want to make sure their UTV policy has an endorsement that covers them for on road use. This is called a "street legal" endorsement. Most UTV policies cover off road use and incidental road use at best. This might be enough for those who are only using a few back roads at best or crossing them to get to trails. But if used on main roads, it's advised to get the on road endorsement. At any rate, its a good idea to review one's policy.
  21. I guess you are right on the speeds and stopping distances. And training. As far as alcohol, I know there is no alcohol in my buggy. And I know a lot of folks who don't drink when they drive their buggies or four wheelers. I also know that there are a lot of folks who drive their vehicles and motorcycles while or after consuming alcohol or drugs, so I don't agree with you on that point. I just don't see why folks are so against letting the UTV's on the roads. At least the secondary and back roads. I'm insured, and I would be willing to pay extra to do it. Maybe they should have proper training for it, and folks could get a license for it. Then those of us who are responsible could enjoy it more. Kids would need to be 16 to be on the road, same as with driver licenses.
  22. I don't have a dog in this fight either, but DS 58 makes a good point about cycles. And most of us ATV and buggy drivers are just crossing the roads or are briefly on them to get from trail to trail. And most of us are very careful and pull over to the side if a vehicle is behind us. We also carry insurance on our equipment. You are always going to have irresponsible people on the roads. That goes for cars, trucks, suvs, cycles and buggies.
