I know. I get it. But there are some folks who absolutely need to wear masks for their own protection. And that's fine. Personally, I don't care if someone wears one or not. I'm not gonna hate them one way or another. There is too much hating going on, and I have had a gut full.

Everyone should do what they want to do. However, I would never put someone down for complying or for wearing a mask when they may have a serious health condition and are trying to protect themselves.

And Oliver Anthony just wants to go back home and continue to live how he lives, in the country. He turned down an 8 million recording deal. I think a lot of us identify with him. I sure agree with a lot of what he says in his songs and interviews.

State Rep. G. Roni Green (D-Philly) is sponsoring it. It would be 32 hours a week, no reduction in pay; an incentive for 70 businesses with over 500 employees. Comes with a 15 billion dollar price tag. As an employer, I don't like it. As an employee, I would. But I don't think we need to spend 15 billion just to see how this works out, when we have trouble balancing our budget. Too much overspending.

I don't think they should pay out another penny. They need to wait and see how things come out. If he comes out innocent, then reinstate him or pay a settlement. If he's guilty, notta. (meaning not a darn cent)

I wonder if the company that does the Veterans flags could help you. I remember purchasing a veterans flag in memory of my grandfather awhile back. The lady in charge of the flag ordering, etc., was a lady named Lisa who ran the Farmer's Insurance Office in DuBois, PA. Not State Farm, but Farmer's. 814-581-4147

What I'm confused about is why would the City be obligated to pay out an employment contract if the employee was in breach of the contract? Said employee is not performing the assisgned duties, so, contract is breached, therefore, no payout.

This is the first I have heard of this one today. I guess its been going around for a few years. Someone gets a text from a scammer. The scammer knows their name, phone number, address, and some names of family members. Now you and I know this info can all be gotten from the internet on Spokeo and other sites for free. The scammer says that they are cartel, says that the recipient of the text must pay 5,000 or they will come and cut their head off and kill family members. They also text pics of carnage of chopped off heads, etc. Real pics and maybe some photo shopped. We all know you can get these pics off the internet. They also text a pic of some folks with hoods on with the eyes cut out and say they are on the way or outside of your home right now. You have 20 minutes to pay. Common sense says the cartel doesn't tell you they are cartel, and they certainly don't text you beforehand. They just bust into your house. So common sense tells us its definitely a scam, but it is scaring the heck out of the folks it happens to. I saw a text recently someone showed me, and the pics were horrible! Very scary. So beware of this! Don't let yourself be fooled. Scammers are getting worse and worse because they are being found out!

The only reason they are going after Trump is that they are scared crapless that he is going to get voted in again. They can't make anything stick, so they are going after anything and everything they can, no matter how senseless. And I agree with you, Fedup, that some if not all of the Presidents before him have dirty laundry in their closets, too. No one went after them is all! I'm sorry that at times I get complacent. I am so exhausted of this nonsense that is going on. There are a lot of us that are just silent right now because we are sick of things! However, we will make our voices known at ballot time. I just hope there are enough of us to make a good change! Trump has what we need in order to interract with the foreign powers. I don't think Russia would have invaded Ukraine if Trump was still President. He also stands for good things for America. I think our borders would be more secure, our people safer, and businesses more profitable if he gets back in. The only thing I don't care for is his mouth at times. I wish he would just keep it shut sometimes and take the high road. Then he would have it all together! And I know he has lied about some things. But they ALL have lied, haven't they? He still has our best interest at heart. The only way I would vote against him would be if there was a strong candidate who was very much like him, but took the high road in the mouth department. I won't get started about Biden and Harris. I'll just say they need to get out.

Not many locals. A DuBois, Brookville, Clarion and a few Punxsutawney. Either there were tons and tons of applicants, or the folks closer to there just aren't interested in hunting the elk.

We had to shelter in place at Christ the King Manor when we were there visiting last night. Scary clouds came up by. They looked like they had fingers whirling around. Never saw anything like it. After about 45 min. all was well. Just got hard rain.

Perhaps the Police are shorthanded, and can call the PCG in if they are in the area to help out when needed. Glad to see them working together and helping out. Its so hard to get recruits nowadays. I do wish the road kill was picked up and disposed of on a timely basis. I also know PCG doesn't come out to dispose of rabid animals most of the time. We had a rabid raccoon under our steps. My hubby called the PCG. They told him what to do. My hubby had to get it with a snare, then put it in a cage, and shoot it. Then had to bury it. We then had to sanitize everywhere the coon had been. Could be that the PCG is shorthanded, too. This is just my opinion, take it for what it is worth, but I feel the Police and Game Wardens are not paid enough. There are a lot of positions in the area that pay way more. Hence, the shortage in these fields. When folks are risking their lives on a day to day basis, they should get paid for it. You couldn't pay me enough to do their jobs.

I've been hearing the Bark Park in Treasure Lake is great. I have family members who take their dogs there. I'm sure they have to be up to date on vaccinations. That is just good common sense.

You mentioned August. I believe folks go out to Sturgis, then. I know of various folks going from this area.

There is also a company that sends out notices to businesses that have DOT numbers that says the businesses are due to submit their biennial DOT updates, and says to contact them to do it. Businesses don't need this service and can go to the federal FMCSA portal and do it themselves at no cost. It's ridiculous all the scams that are out there!
