  1. Bernadette H. “Bernie” McDowell, age 72 of DuBois, PA died Friday, July 1, 2022 at her home. Born on March 19, 1950 in Philipsburg, PA, she was the daughter of the late Ai and Helen (Folmar) Gormont. On October 16, 1971 she married Dallas D. McDowell, Jr. He survives. Bernie worked in the in Nuclear Medicine Department of DuBois Regional Medical Center where she had worked as an X-Ray Technician from 1968 until her retirement in 2010. She was a member of St. Catherine of Siena Roman Catholic Church. She enjoyed camping and going on cruises. Bernie is survived by one son (David McDowell of DuBois, PA), three brothers (Walter Gormont and his wife Jean and Roger Gormont and his wife Jody, both of Clearfield, PA and Dennis Gormont of Frenchville, PA) and a sister-in-law (Carol Gormont). She was preceded in death by one brother (Jerry Gormont). Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 3, 2022 from 1 - 4 PM at the Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc.   2. Mary “Maggie” Cooper, age 81 of Brockway, PA died Wednesday, June 29, 2022 at Penn Highlands DuBois Hospital. Born on November 12, 1940 in DuBois, PA, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Irene (Barry) Gallagher. On November 9, 1963 she married William L. Cooper. He preceded her in death on August 7, 2010. Mary was a homemaker. She was a graduate of St. Catherine High School and a member of St. Tobias Roman Catholic Church. Mary was well known for her strong faith and being a prayer warrior. She loved her farm and tending to her horses Stormy and Mindy. Above all, she loved her family, especially her girls, Lisa and Christin. Mary will be remembered as a kind and gentle person with a warm smile that could brighten your day. She was always helping others trying to make the world a better place. She will be missed by all. Mary is survived by one daughter (Lisa Cooper and her fiancé Chuck Dietz of DuBois, PA), one granddaughter (Christin Green and her husband Ray of Macomb, OK) and one brother (Joseph Gallagher and his wife Kay of Douglassville, PA). She was preceded in death by one brother Patrick Gallagher. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 5, 2022 from 2- 4 and 6 - 8 PM at the Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc.   3. Richard J. “Dick” Lanzoni, age 83 of DuBois, PA died Wednesday, June 29, 2022 at McKinley Health Center in Brookville, PA. Born on May 16, 1939 in Brockway, PA, he was the son of the late Aldo and Esther (Zambanini) Lanzoni. On June 4, 1994, he married Carol (Allegretto) Lanzoni. She survives. Dick was a veteran of the United States Army. Dick had a 40-year career in the automotive service business. He had worked for Central Volkswagen, Johnson Motors, and Kelly Chrysler. Dick was a member of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church in Force. He was an avid fly fisherman, was a coach for many years in the DuBois Little League, and had played accordion in the Four Crowns Band. He is survived by three sons (Richard A. Lanzoni and his wife Michele, Edward V. Lanzoni and his wife Beth and Paul K. Lanzoni and his wife Colleen, all of DuBois, PA), stepson (Michael Allegretto and his wife Cindy of Wilcox, PA), 8 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and a sister (Aldeen Lanzoni of Troutville, PA). He was preceded in death by one daughter (Pamela Ann Lanzoni) There will be no public visitation. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, July 5, 2022 at 10 a.m. from St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church in Force with Fr. Mark Mastrian as celebrant.   4. Mary Florence “Polly” Kruk, age 82 of DuBois, PA died on Monday, June 27, 2022 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA. Born on October 17, 1939 in the DuBois Hospital, she was the only child of C. Gordon and Florence Hay. On May 27, 1961 she married her husband of 61 years, Donald J. Kruk. He survives. Polly graduated from DuBois High School in 1957, then Clarion University in January 1961 and post grad work at Indiana University of Pennsylvania and Penn State University. She taught in Clearfield Area Schools for two years then retired to raise their children, but did substitute teaching for Special Education Students in DuBois for several years. She was a life member of the Episcopal Church of Our Saviour where she was active in church affairs, having served for many dinners and bazaars. She was a Girl Scout leader, served on the Board of the local American Red Cross and served on the Board of the DuBois Regional Medical Center Auxiliary. She also was a member of the Gateway Investment Club and a member of the Monday Night Readers Club. She loved all animals and felt that they were all of God’s Creatures. To her, no cat or dog was ever ugly. She enjoyed hand sewing, reading and crossword puzzles. Polly is survived by her children Dr. K. Dawn Luvaas and her husband Donnie Weis of St. Marys, PA, Dr. Mary Elizabeth “Beth” Jones and her husband Mark of Treasure Lake, and her grandchildren, Scott Flick and wife Jackie and son Donald of Williamsport, PA, Dr. Sarah Flick of Newton, MA, and Deric Luvaas of Pittsburgh, PA. She is also survived by her brothers-in-law John E. Kruk and his wife Kay, Greg Kruk, Dr. Steve Kruk and his wife Rita and a sister-in-law Mary L. Siemuchia. She also was an Equestrian and a Synchronized Swimmer. She learned both of these activities as a youth while attending summer camp for several years in Have de Grace, Maryland. When the DuBois Country Club opened their newly constructed swimming pool in the early fifties, Polly and one other swimmer provided a synchronized show for the event. Polly treasured her times spent with her children and grandchildren and great grandchild. She loved her friends and especially her Pool Family, Visitation will be held on Friday, July 1, 2022 from 2 – 4 PM and 6 – 8 PM at the Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc.   5. Brenda C. Grinnen, age 78, of DuBois, PA died Saturday, June 25, 2022 at her home. Born on January 11, 1944 in DuBois, PA, she was the daughter of the late Peter and Helen (Mikelonis) King, Jr. She was married to Robert T. Grinnen. He survives. Brenda retired as a Claims Supervisor from the State of Pennsylvania Unemployment Agency. She was a member of the former St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church and the Lithuanian Independence Club Ladies Auxiliary. Brenda enjoyed her boxer dogs, Chloe, Brinley and Piper. Above all, she loved her time with her children and grandchildren. She is survived by her children (R. Scott Grinnen and his wife Rebecca of DuBois, PA and Shawn Grinnen and his wife Linda of Howell, MI), three grandchildren (Ainsley, Lindsey and Blakely) one brother (David King and his wife Patty of DuBois, PA) and one sister (Delores Perrotta, of Raymond, NH). There will be no public visitation. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, July 1, 2022 at 11:00 am from St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church with Msgr.   6. Edward J. Levenduski, age 83 of Weedville, PA died Friday, June 24, 2022 at his home. Born on February 22, 1939 in Byrnedale, PA, he was the son of the late Frank and Ann (Gabor) Levenduski. On November 13, 1965 he married his wife of 56 years, Janice M. (Mitchell) Levenduski. She survives. Eddie retired from Sylvania in St. Marys, PA after 28 years of service. He was a member of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church in Force, PA. Eddie was a member of the Kane Lodge #566 Free and Accepted Masons, a past member of the Weedville Lions Club and a retired Deputy Game Protector. He had a strong interest in coins, enjoyed hunting, fishing and being with his family. Along with his wife, he is survived by his children (Ann Olivia Smith and her husband Mac of St. Marys, PA and James E. Levenduski & his companion Kathy Mertz of Weedville, PA), and four grandchildren (Michael, Maura, Marissa and Cody). Eddie was preceded in death by two sisters (Dorothy O’Leary & Paula Posteraro) and three brothers (Francis, John, & Joseph Levenduski).   7. Connie L. Owens, age 79 of DuBois, PA died Friday, June 24, 2022 at Penn Highlands DuBois Hospital. Born on February 17, 1943 in DuBois, PA, she was the daughter of the late Gerald “Tim” and LuLu F. (Shubert) Forsyth. Connie worked as an accountant for Wells Auto Wrecking and Johnson Motors, both in DuBois, PA. She was a member of West Liberty Church in DuBois, PA. Connie loved to go to the DuBois City Park to watch baseball and lunch with friends at Logan’s Quick Lunch. She enjoyed knitting and reading and loved to host holiday gatherings. She is survived by her two daughters (Heather Dimmick and her husband Barry of Clearfield, PA and Amber Kear and her husband Wade of DuBois, PA), four grandchildren (Kyle and Tara Kerr and Kaleb and Autumn Kear) and two great grandchildren (Abrie Kerr and Blake Mitten). Connie was preceded in death by one daughter (Aimee Owens) and one brother (Lyle Forsyth). There will be no public visitation and memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family.   8. Melissa S. Hemphill, Age 51 of DuBois, PA died Thursday, June 23, 2022 at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA. Born on March 13, 1971 in Clearfield, PA, she was the daughter of Bruce C. Sample and Yolanda J. (Graham) Bliss. Her father preceded her in death, her mother survives and lives in Lanse, PA. Melissa made her home with Scott Reed for the past eighteen years. He survives. She was a homemaker and a Mary Kay Cosmetics representative. Melissa was Past President of the Oklahoma Tigers Football Association and a past member of ABATE. She is survived by 3 children (Brittanie Peffer & her husband Pete of Kane, PA; Noah Foster of DuBois, PA, and Hayden Hemphill of DuBois, PA), several grandchildren, a sister (Brooke Bliss Cook & her husband Leroy of Woodland, PA), her mother & father-in-law (Don & Sandy Eberhart of Brockport, PA) and her step father (Lee “Squeak” Walter of Lanse, PA).   9. Stephen R. Volpe, Age 75 of DuBois, PA died Saturday, June 18, 2022 at his home surrounded by his family. Born on January 26, 1947 in Steubenville, Ohio, he was the son of the late John & Yolanda Meraglia Volpe. Steve was a veteran of the United States Navy having served as a Coxswain Assault Boat Operator during Vietnam. He was a graduate of DuBois Central Christian High School and Prince George County Community College with a degree in marketing. Steve began his financial services career with Prudential Financial Services in the suburbs of Washington D.C. As a personal producer, he received many awards and rewards. He successfully sold his sales culture ideas to a large Maryland Bank. He was hired as a Senior Treasury Officer and was charged with the development of a sales unit that serviced the needs of the bank’s high worth clients. He then accepted a position with Swift Kennedy Financial in DuBois, PA. With his continued growth, in January of 1997, Swift Kennedy & Associates was born with Steve as its President, CEO, and sole stockholder. Health Challenges and a desire to spend more time with his family led to his decision to sell the business and retire. When sold, the agency was among the top 13 agencies in Western and Central Pennsylvania. He was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church, the DuBois Shriners Club and the Garfield Lodge # 559 Free & Accepted Masons. Steve was a past member of the Board of Directors for the DuBois YMCA, the DuBois Housing Authority, and the DuBois Area United Way where he had served as President of the board. He had been a member of the DuBois Area Jaycees and the DuBois Kiwanis Club. When he was at DuBois Central, he was an undefeated, two-time Pennsylvania state champion wrestler. He enjoyed golfing, boating, and shooting trap & skeet. Steve also cherished his time with his friends and their many adventures. His proudest accomplishment was being a dad and papa to his children and grandchildren. He is survived by two daughters (Lisa and Jenna Volpe, both of DuBois, PA), his son (Anthony Volpe & his wife Marcy of DuBois, PA), grandson (Mathue Volpe), granddaughter (Mia Volpe), Linda Volpe of DuBois, PA, his wife of 36 years, and a brother (David Volpe & Katherine Price of Arnold, MD), two sisters (Renee VanWie & her husband John of Stevensville, MD, and Kim Volpe Abdelaziz & her husband Shakri of Chicago, IL), as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 23, 2022 from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. from the Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, June 24, 2022 at 10 a.m. from St. Catherine of Siena Roman Catholic Church with Msgr. Richard Siefer as celebrant. Full military honors will be accorded from the church by the members of the DuBois Area Honor Guard. Burial will follow in St. Michael Cemetery. Steve was always committed to serving the community and making our area a better place to live.   10. Sonia M. Kot, age 63 of Falls Creek, PA died Thursday, June 16, 2022 at her home. Born on July 14, 1958 in Clearfield, PA, she was the daughter of Marlene (White) Heverley of Brockway, PA and the late Donald Clark. On September 3, 1977 she married her husband of 44 years, Michael W. Kot at St. Tobias Church in Brockway, PA. He survives. Sonia worked as a teacher’s aide for Head Start of Jefferson County. She was a member of St. Catherine of Siena Roman Catholic Church. Sonia enjoyed the outdoors, camping, boating and mowing grass. She is also survived by her children; Joseph Kot, Sr. of DuBois, PA, Paul Kot and his wife Diane of Brockway, PA and Tony Kot and his companion Elaine of Oil City, PA, eight grandchildren; Joseph Jr., Dale, Kimberly, Lindsey, Dylan, Lena, Wilson and Laura Kot, two brothers; Charles Clark and his wife Linda and David Clark and his wife Michele both of Curwensville, PA, one sister Cheryl Boleen and her husband Rick of Brockway, PA and brother-in-law John Kot and his wife Carole of Erie, PA. Along with her father, she was preceded in death by her step father Orlin Heverley. There will be no public visitation and a private family funeral service will be held.   11. Bernard J. Pitrone, Age 62 of DuBois, PA died Monday, June 13, 2022 at Christ the King Manor. Born on July 13, 1959 in Punxsutawney, PA, he was the son of Anthony G. and Beatrice A. (Crawford) Pitrone. His parents survive and live in DuBois. On April 19, 1986, he married his wife of 36 years, Susan L. (Brock) Pitrone. She survives. Bernie spent his entire career as a registered pharmacist. He was the owner and operator of the Medicine Shoppe in DuBois and Brookville until his health forced his retirement. He was a 1977 graduate of DuBois Central Christian High School and a 1983 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh School of Pharmacy. Bernie was all things Pitt Panthers! He especially loved Pitt Football and Pitt Basketball. He never missed a game, and had Pitt Parties every weekend with his family. He was also an avid Pittsburgh Pirates and Steelers fan. Bernie also had a fondness for the game of baseball. He cared deeply for the DuBois area and was a member of many civic clubs such as Kiwanis Club and the DuBois Jaycees. Bernie was the recipient of the DuBois Jaycee’s Man of the Year Award in 2002, and was also the DCC Distinguished Alumni Award Winner. He sat on several Boards of Directors, such as DuBois Central Catholic School Board, the DuBois YMCA, Parkside Community Center, and the DuBois Area Chamber of Commerce though the years, as well as serving as President on several. Bernie was a lifetime member of Saint Catherine of Siena Roman Catholic Church and also served on the Owners Advisory Council of Medicine Shoppe International Inc. He was passionate about DuBois Central Catholic and was a spearhead to the growth of the DCC Alumni Association. Despite his physical limitations in recent years, he was a funny and warm prankster who loved life and his family more than anything. He will be greatly missed. He is survived by three children (Gionna Marie Pitrone of DuBois, PA; Vincent G. Pitrone & his girlfriend Giovanna of Queens, NY; and Nicholas A. Pitrone of Pittsburgh, PA) his siblings (Marianne Wymer & her husband Bob of Avon, IN; Kathleen Puleo & her husband Bob of Oil City, PA; Anthony Pitrone, Jr. & his wife Christine of Marietta, GA; Gregory Pitrone & his wife Marla of Glen Allen, VA; Dr. Andrew Pitrone & his wife Jen of Erie, PA; and John Baltrus & his wife Jurate of Pittsburgh, PA), and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins whom he loved dearly. Visitation will be held on Friday, June 17, 2022 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc. The family requests that masks be worn at the visitation. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, June 18, 2022 at 11 a.m. from St. Catherine of Siena Roman Catholic Church with Msgr. Richard Siefer as celebrant.   12. On February 15, 1920, we were given the gift of Mary Louise (Hepler) Way. She lived a life full of shared love and caring and as a partner with her late husband “Bill” Way. On June 11, 2022 the angels came to take her to be with Bill, at age 102. When she was born, Mary joined the family of Minnie (Braund) Hepler (Mother), Lester Hepler (Father), Virginia (Hepler) Sanders (Sister) and Homer Hepler (Brother) and grew up on Highland Street in DuBois. Mary graduated from DuBois High School in 1938; attended the DuBois Undergraduate Center of Penn State for two years where she was selected for membership in the Delta Mu Sigma Honor Society and May Queen in 1940. She then attended Penn State’s main campus. Mary’s life was focused on family: her parents, sister and brother; and her family with Bill and their two children, Joy and Steve. Mary also played a key role in Bill’s businesses, starting with Way Pottery and then the start and growth of Way Office Supply. Although Bill was the outgoing/gregarious face of the business, Mary was a career woman with a family, household and a partner in the growing Way Office Supply business. In 1976, when the Way Office Supply store in downtown DuBois was destroyed by a fire, Mary, along with their son Steve, worked with Bill to restore and to expand the business. Mary had a talent for selecting gifts and her favorite parts of the business were management of the Hallmark greeting cards and Cloud 9 Gifts sections. Mary was a life long member of the First United Presbyterian Church of DuBois where she served as a Sunday School teacher, an elder and member of the Berean Bible Class. She was also a member of the DuBois Susquehanna Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution. Mary loved family travel, with Williamsburg, VA being a favorite along with camping trips out West, to New England and several Navy ports as part of Bill’s summer Naval Reserve assignments. She and Bill enjoyed trips to Europe, summer visits to a rented cottage in Low Banks, Ontario, Canada and picking blueberries at the family Farm in Stump Creek. Mary was a compassionate, loving and gracious woman treasured by her family and all who knew her. She lived a life of humility and faith by always putting others before herself. Mary was preceded in death by her mother, father, sister, brother, husband Bill and a nephew David Hepler. She is survived by her daughter, Joy Way McGarvey (Ron) and son, Steve Way (Wendy); 4 grandchildren: Chris Way (Ashley), Katie Way, Scott McGarvey (Melissa), Michael McGarvey (Sara); and, 6 great grandchildren: Lucas, Will, Calla, Jameson and Scarlet McGarvey and Maisy Way; and a special niece Susan (Sanders) Nolan and nephews, Alan and Milton Sanders.   13. Delores (Dolly) Malewicz, age 79 of Punxsutawney, PA, formerly of DuBois, PA, passed away peacefully June 5, 2022 at Punxsutawney Area Hospital with family by her side. She was born on October 5, 1942, the daughter of the late Chester Malewicz and Geneva (Malek) Malewicz. Her mother survives and lives in DuBois, PA. She attended St. Joseph School and currently attended Fayette Resources Day Program where she made a multitude of friends and was loved by all. Dolly is also survived by a sister Carol (Gus) Lewis of Pittsburgh, PA, a nephew Jonathan Lewis of Erie, PA, niece Jennifer (Jaison) Palermo of Pittsburgh, PA, great nephews Elliott and Max Palermo and great niece Alexandria Lewis. She is also survived by her extended family who has lovingly taken care of her for the past 10 years, Dan and Darlene McConnell of Punxsutawney, PA and her special friend Marlene. We are forever grateful for the care and compassion shown to Dolly over the years. Dolly was a special person. She loved her polka music and never missed the 9 a.m. Polka Party on Sunday mornings.   14. Michael David Loy II of Treasure Lake, Pa passed away June 6, 2022 from natural causes. Mike was born in Harrisburg, PA on October 31, 1976. He is the son of the late Michael David Loy and Lois Sweetland (Jim). Mike leaves behind his wonderful wife Mikaela. Mike was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Leroy D. Loy and maternal grandfather Francis E. Stossel. Mike leaves behind his sisters, Alison Weiand (Josh) of Mechanicsburg, PA and Ashlee Mchugh (Sean), South Lyon, Michigan, his in laws, Rick and Cindy Smith, of Sykesville, PA a sister-in-law, Lindsey, San Diego,Ca and step brother, Kyle Sweetland. He will be missed by nephews, Trey, Jack, Chase and Drew and niece, Emma, his grandmothers Maryanne Loy and Doris Stossel, his wife’s grandmothers, Flo Smith and Karen Miller.   15. Janice C. Kear, age 86 of DuBois, PA died Saturday, June 4, 2022 at Penn Highlands DuBois Hospital. Born on August 24, 1935 in Penfield, PA, she was the daughter of the late Albert & June (Emigh) Gontero. On October 29, 2000, she married Gordon D. Kear. He survives. Janice retired from the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation in Clearfield. She was a member of the Penfield United Methodist Church where she sang in the church choir.   16. Kermit K. Kweder, age 82 of Reynoldsville, PA died Thursday, June 2, 2022 at Penn Highlands DuBois Hospital. Born on July 5, 1939 in Falls Creek, PA, he was the son of the late Clyde and Emma (Senior) Kweder. In 1975 he married his wife Phyllis M. (Lockwood) Kweder in the First Baptist Church in Reynoldsville, PA. She survives. Kermit was a veteran of the United States Navy. He retired from the maintenance department of McDowell Manufacturing after 37 years of service. Kermit was an avid antique car enthusiast and loved riding his motorcycle.   17. Marlin D. “Bruz” Deitch, age 92 of DuBois, PA died Tuesday, May 31, 2022 at his home. Born on August 13, 1929 in Helvetia, PA, he was the son of the late Lloyd and Clarice (Kephart) Deitch. On May 17, 1963 he married his wife of 59 years, Virginia “Ginny” Schoch Deitch. She survives. Marlin was a veteran of the United States Air Force having served during the Korean War. While in the Air Force, he completely rewired a damaged C-119 Aircraft for its return to the frontlines. He had a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from Penn State University.Marlin was an electrical engineer at the Shawville Power Plant. He retired as a foreman after 39 years of service. Marlin was a member of St. Peter United Church of Christ. He was the first German to obtain a lifetime membership at the Pulaski Club, was a lifetime member of the George D. Montgomery American Legion Post 17 and the Falls Creek Eagles Aerie 965. Marlin was an avid golfer, enjoyed going to camp and loved to work on his homemade 1968 Dune Buggy. Along with his wife, Marlin is survived by his daughters (Kim Luzier and Crisann Deitch, both of DuBois, PA), one grandson (Braeden Sedor of DuBois, PA), two great granddaughters (Raynee and Samhain) and one great-great grandson (Dean James).   19. Harry E. “Mick” Ent, age 79 of DuBois, PA died Monday, May 23, 2022 at his home. Born on April 22, 1943 in Ridgway, PA, he was the son of the late Harry A. Ent and Mary E. (McFadden) Case. Mick was a veteran of the United States Air Force having served during the Vietnam Era. On June 5, 1993 he married his wife of 29 years, Pamela A. (Kalgren) Ent. She survives. Mick was employed at the Maple Avenue location of the DuBois Regional Medical Center for 27 years in various capacities and he served as the Pastor at Boone Mountain Emanuel Church from 2006 until 2012. In 2014 until 2020, Mick served in the United Methodist Ministry. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter (Sandra E. Ent of DuBois, PA), and two sisters (Denise Thompson of Brookville, PA and Mary Anne Whetstone of Bedford, PA). He was preceded in death by one brother (Derald “Bud” Ent) and his step-father (James L. Case). He preceded her in death in July of 2018. Ida June was a wife, a homemaker, a mother, grammy and great grammy. She loved the Lord and attended the Christian and Missionary Alliance Church in Brockway. Her family was the pride and joy of her life, and she loved each one with all of her heart.   24. Thomas Eugene Frank, age 87, passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, May 16, 2022 surrounded by his family. Tom was born on Oct. 22, 1934 in Reynoldsville, PA to the late Clarence and Sophie (Ritsky) Frank. On Dec. 11, 1957, Tom married Zella May (Cramer) Frank who survives. Tom loved Zella with all his heart and was devoted to her throughout their 64 years of marriage. Tom was a graduate of Reynoldsville High School. He proudly served in the United States Army. He was Christian by faith and loved the Lord Jesus. Tom attended Penn State University, DuBois campus. Tom was a salesman for Dracket and Hills Brothers and owned Pepperidge Farms, Bachman and Stella Dora franchise routes in the tri county area. He retired at the age of 48 and enjoyed his years of retirement. Tom coached for DuBois Little League for 30+ years including many All-Star teams with his good friend Jerry Pyne. Tom and Jerry’s teams won 3 state championships. In 1986, Tom and Jerry’s team finished 4th in the world after competing in the 1986 Senior League All-Stars in Kissimmee, FL. He was an assistant baseball coach for DuBois Central Christian in 1986-87. He was an avid athlete in many sports including baseball, football, basketball, bowling, and golf. In his later years, he loved playing golf in his yard and many of the local golf courses. His favorite teams were the Pittsburgh Pirates and the Pittsburgh Steelers. In addition to his wife, Tom is survived by his five children: Kathy Morelli Bross and her husband Rusty of Frederick, MD, Theresa Gustafson and her husband Fred of DuBois, Mary Carlheim and her husband Dan of Philipsburg, Laurie Groves and her husband Dale of DuBois and Tommy Frank and his wife Stacey of DuBois. Tom is also survived by 15 grandchildren: Justin (Julia) Morelli, Monica (Chris) Clinch, Michelle Morelli, Kaylee (Sean) Bowser, Melanie (Brandon) Bumbarger, Markie (Corey) Rearick, Emily Gustafson, Carson Carlheim, Dannika Carlheim, Tori (Jeremy) Gallo, Teri Groves, Tyler Groves, Jackson Frank, Jordan Frank and Jessy Frank. He is also survived by 22 great-grandchildren with one on the way and one great-great-grandson. Tom is also survived by his brother, Jim (Carol) Frank of Florida and many nieces and nephews. His always loyal dog, Tebow, never left his side. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister Kay Koontz, his son-in-law, Tom Morelli, and his grandson, Jason Morelli.   25. Pamela M. Young, age 66 of Sykesville, PA died Monday, May 16, 2022 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Born on March 8, 1956 in DuBois, PA, she was the daughter of the late Allison “Jack” and Shirley (Jacobs) Kelichner, Jr. On December 31, 1977 she married Charles “Chuck” Young. He survives. Pam was a Licensed Practical Nurse for over 35 years at the DuBois Regional Medical Center. She was a member of the Holy Trinity Byzantine Catholic Church. She enjoyed crocheting, reading, watching TV and surfing the internet. Above all, she loved being with her grandchildren. Pam is survived by two children (Rebecca Bush of Sykesville, PA) and (Scott Young and his wife Mia of El Dorado Hills, CA), five grandchildren (Kaden, Ryleigh, Maddox, Makayla and Ciana), and one sister (Paula Stine and her husband Patrick of DuBois, PA).
