  1. Eugene H. “Shiner” Young, age 90 of Falls Creek, PA died Friday, November 15, 2024 at Ridgeview Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center. Born on July 21, 1934 in DuBois, PA, he was the son of the late James B. and Anna (Zimmerman) Young. On January 21, 1968 he married Janet (Allshouse) Young. She preceded him in death on October 24, 2019. He was a self-employed brick layer and a member of the Bricklayers and Allied Craftworkers Union Local 9. He was a veteran of the United States Army Reserves. Shiner was a member of St. Bernard Roman Catholic Church. He was an avid gun collector and hunter. He also loved to fish, tie flies, and go to camp with his buddies. Shiner had a great zest for life and will be missed by many. He is survived by one daughter Pamela L. Young (Jeff Weaver) of Falls Creek, PA), two grandchildren (Erica and Alex Young), and two great grandsons (Cole Senior and Brickston Young). Shiner was preceded in death by one daughter (Marsha Ann Disselhoff), one son (Eric Young), one grandson (Dylan Young), three brothers (Robert, Roger and infant brother Paul Young) and two sisters (Ethel Fay and Betty McFadden). Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 20, 2024 from 4 – 7 PM at the Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, November 21, 2024 at 10 AM from Holy Spirit Parish at St. Bernard with Father John Malthaner as celebrant.   2. Edward F. Horak, age 69 of DuBois, PA died Monday, November 11, 2024 at his home. Born on June 26, 1955 in DuBois, PA, he was the son of the late Richard M. and Constance (Campanini) Horak. On June 26, 1980 he married his wife of 44 years Nancy J. (Armagost) Horak. She survives. Ed worked alongside his father at the family-owned Riverside Market. He also worked as a manager at Fezell’s Shop ’n Save and Save-A-Lot. He retired from Snyder’s of Berlin. After retirement, he worked for Jewell’s Busing. Along with his wife, Ed is survived by his children (Richard Horak and Susan Horak, both of DuBois, PA), and his brothers (Michael Horak and his wife Debbie of Landenberg, PA and David Horak and his wife Maritess of Gloucester, MA). Visitation will be held on Friday, November 15, 2024 from 4 – 7 PM at the Baronick Funeral Home and Crematorium, Inc.   3. Mary “Jeanne” Britton, age 93 of Falls Creek, PA died Monday, November 11, 2024 at Penn Highlands DuBois Hospital. Born on June 18, 1931 in Sherbrooke, Quebec, Canada, she was the daughter of the late James and Mary Ann (Davidson) Jones. She married John H. Britton in 1981. He preceded her in death in 2000. Jeanne started out working at Wisor’s store in Falls Creek, PA and then worked as the secretary for Britton Construction for many years until her retirement. She was a charter member of the Falls Creek Women’s Club and an active member of St. Bernard Roman Catholic Church. Jeanne enjoyed sewing, seamstress work, knitting and crocheting and she enjoyed bowling in the Jolly 6 League for many years. She is survived by her daughter (Debbie Reemtsen and her husband John of Transfer, PA), her step children (Mark Britton and his wife Sue, and Dave Britton, both of DuBois, PA, Timothy Britton of Falls Creek, PA, and Kathy Amatrone and her husband B.J. of Brockway, PA), twelve step grandchildren, thirteen step great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews and one sister (Margaret Kengersky of DuBois, PA). Jeanne was preceded in death by one brother (Arthur Jones and his wife Barbara) and one sister (Sarah Ellen Jones), and one brother-in-law (Edward Kengersky). There will be no public visitation and services will be held at the convenience of the family. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.   4. Dolores M. Penvose, age 95 of Luthersburg, PA died Monday, November 11, 2024 at the DuBois Nursing Home. Born on June 19, 1929 in Helvetia, PA, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Margaret (Getsy) Vilkinofsky. On June 27, 1953 she married Orland O. Penvose. He preceded her in death on September 4, 2014. Dolores retired from Rola-Jensen in DuBois, PA, and she was a lifelong member of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church in DuBois, PA. She is survived by three nieces (Joan Vilkinofsky (Kathy Prowitt) of Georgetown, DE, Wanda Thomas of Punxsutawney, PA and Nancy Young (Michael) of Clermont, FL), one great niece, two great nephews and numerous great-great nieces and great-great nephews. Dolores was preceded in death by one brother (Bernard Vilkinofsky). There will be no public visitation. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, November 14, 2024 at 11 AM from the chapel at St. Joseph Cemetery with Father John Malthaner officiating.   5. Rosie Mae Bundy, age 89 of Stevens, PA, formerly of Falls Creek, PA, died Monday, November 4, 2024 at her home. Born on February 13, 1935 in Reynoldsville, PA, she was the daughter of the late Robert and LuLu (Canaan) Stitt. She was married to John D. Maier. He preceded her in death in 1994. Rosie then married Kenneth Bundy who preceded her in death in 2008. Rosie retired from the Jackson China Company in Falls Creek, PA after many years of service. After retirement, she worked at the Best Western in DuBois, PA. She enjoyed knitting. She is survived by her children (Don Maier of Stevens, PA) and LeAnn Zimmerman of San Bernardino, CA), step children (Edward Bundy and his wife Anne and Otis Bundy and his wife Gina, both of DuBois, PA, as well as Donald and Vicky Bundy, Jeffrey Bundy and Barb Smith, all of Falls Creek, PA), and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and step grandchildren and step great grandchildren. Rosie was preceded in death by three brothers (Charles, Robert and George Stitt), half brother (Sidney Stitt), and one sister (Margaret Smith). Visitation will be held on Monday, November 11, 2024 from 10 – 11 AM at the Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc.   6. Troy G. Wells, age 37 of DuBois, PA died Friday, November 1, 2024 at Penn Highlands DuBois Hospital as the result of injuries sustained in an accident. Born on April 11, 1987 in DuBois, PA, he was the son of the late Richard “Dick” Wells and Shirley (Shields) Wells. His mother survives and lives in DuBois, PA. He was a 2006 graduate of the DuBois Area High School. Troy received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science from Clarion University. He was employed as a salesman by Prontock Beer Distributing, Inc. Troy was a member of the Sykesville Eagles. He enjoyed DJing, kayaking, and fixing iPhones for his family and friends. Troy loved music, going to concerts with his friends, poker runs with his side-by-side and riding his motorcycle. Along with his mother, Troy is survived by one sister (Tracy Camuso and her husband Christian of Brockway, PA), one niece (Aurora Carlson), one nephew (Jace Carlson), and his half-brother (Rick Wells). Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 6, 2024 from 4 – 7 PM at the Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc.   7. Karen Marie Evans, Age 66 of DuBois, PA died Thursday, October 31, 2024 at her home. Born on November 8, 1957 in DuBois, PA, she was the daughter of the late William and Ann (Barille) Henry. On December 6, 1995, she married her husband of 28 years, William W. Evans. He survives. Karen was a 1975 graduate of Jeff Tech. She retired from Elcam Inc. in DuBois after over 20 years of service. She was a life member of the Sandy Hose Company # 1 Fireman’s Club, loved lottery tickets, and the Pittsburgh Steelers. Karen enjoyed cooking, but she especially loved her cats, Finn and Puddy Cat. She is survived by her three sons (Eric Smith of DuBois, PA, Jarred Smith of Albright, WV, and Dylan Smith of Wasilla, AK), a step daughter (Lauren Bowers and her husband Jonathan of DuBois, PA) and a brother (William Henry of Chambersburg, PA).   8. Gail L. Morgan, age 80 of DuBois, PA died Wednesday, October 30, 2024 at her home surrounded by her family. Born on August 16, 1944 in DuBois, PA, she was the daughter of the late John and Anna (Koproski) Levendusky. On July 2, 1966 she married her husband of 58 years, Robert C. Morgan at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church in Force, PA. He survives. Gail was a 1962 graduate of the DuBois Area High School. She went on to graduate from Clarion University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education, and then earned a Master of Education Degree from the Indiana University of Pennsylvania. She was an elementary school teacher for the DuBois Area School District for 36 years. Gail was a member St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church and St. Bernard Roman Catholic Church. She was a member of the Pennsylvania State Education Association. Gail loved animals, especially her dogs, but her children and her grandchildren were her life and she enjoyed following their many activities. Along with her husband, Gail is survived by her children (Judy Morris and Robert C. Morgan II and his wife Kristy, both of DuBois, PA), four grandchildren (Blair and Morgan Poulos and Lydia and Jillian Morgan), one sister (Judy Smart and her husband David of Penfield, PA), two nieces (Jill Smart Chan and her husband Davidson of Pittsburgh, PA and Suzanne Erickson and her husband Don of Penfield, PA), and her dog Jack. There will be no public visitation. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Holy Spirit Parish at St. Michael the Archangel on Monday, November 4, 2024 at 10 AM with Father John Malthaner and Father Ben Daghir as con celebrants. Burial will follow in St. Michael Cemetery.   9. Michael Syktich, age 92 of DuBois, PA died Wednesday, October 30, 2024 at Penn Highlands DuBois Hospital. Born on August 14, 1932 in Smith Mill, PA, he was the son of the late John and Nancy (Mohnal) Syktich. He was a 1950 graduate of Madera High School. On August 8, 1959 he married his wife of 65 years, Lucy B. (Waslosky) Syktich. She survives. Mike worked in the appliance business for 68 years. He began his career as a television repairman and was well-known as "TV Mike". He continued in television and appliances, and eventually became the owner of Syktich Appliance. In 1995 he retired and sold his business to his son Paul, whom he continued to work alongside of until his passing. Mike was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church where he was an usher and had worked the St. Michael Polish Festival for years. He had been a member of the Olympic Athletic Club, the Pulaski Club and the Horseshoe Club. Mike loved hunting and gardening. Along with his wife, Mike is survived by his children (Mary Syktich of DuBois, PA, Steve Syktich and his wife Beverly of Rockton, PA and Paul Syktich and his wife Jackie of DuBois, PA), six grandchildren (Shannon Leonard, Robbie Leonard and his wife Maria, Bryan Syktich, Rachel Steele and her husband Matthew, Erika Syktich and Garret Syktich, and five great grandchildren (Tyler, Sydney, Aria, Eva and Mila). He was preceded in death by one daughter (Linda Syktich), seven brothers (Charles, Harry, John, Sam, Stanley, David and Joseph Syktich) and four sisters (Helen Muhaw, Ann Ribelli, Estella Vreeland and Catherine Ordwein). Visitation will be held on Monday, November 4, 2024 from 4 - 7 PM at the Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, November 5, 2024 at 10 AM from Holy Spirit Parish at St. Michael the Archangel with Fr. John Malthaner and Msgr.   10. Robert Michael Knouse, age 68 of DuBois, PA died suddenly on Tuesday, October 29, 2024. Born on September 15, 1956 in DuBois, PA, he was the son of the late Frank J. and Goldie (Lingenfelter) Knouse. Rob worked for many years at the Riverside Perishable Distribution Center. He was also a well-known carpet installer and contactor in our area. He was a member of the Polish Citizen’s Club. Rob had a great love for the outdoors and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was also an excellent wood carver and made many different treasures for family and friends. Rob had a great sense of humor and could always make you laugh. He was always playing jokes on people to put a smile on their face. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Rob is survived by his children (Heather Henry and her husband Travis of State College, PA and Robert J. Knouse of DuBois, PA), three grandchildren (Pasha, Taylor and Carsen Henry), his siblings (Donna Hall and her husband Wayne of Falls Creek, PA, Frank Knouse and his wife Jeanne of DuBois, PA, Tish Clyde and Greg Nicholson of Reynoldsville, PA and Pat Knouse and his wife Cindy of DuBois, PA), and numerous nieces , nephews and great nieces and great nephews.   11. Jeanette L. Crana, age 59 of DuBois, PA, died Monday, October 28, 2024 at her home. Born on May 1, 1965 in Cleveland, OH, she was the daughter of the late James B. and Judith A. (Sharpe) Watson, Sr. On February 16, 1985 she married Kenneth Crana, Jr. He survives. Jeannie was a beautician at A Style For You on Maple Avenue for the past 20 years. She loved to play bingo and was well known on the local bingo circuit. She especially loved bingo at the Oklahoma Athletic Association and Nativity Church. She also enjoyed going to the beach with her family each year. Along with her husband, Jeannie is survived by her children (Michael Crana and his wife Kimberly and Chelsea Crana, both of DuBois, PA), one grandchild (Vayden Crana), one brother (James B. Watson of Outer Banks, NC), and her "fur babies" (Mia, Zoey and Cooper). Visitation will be held on Friday, November 1, 2024 from 5 - 7 PM at the Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc.   12. Terry L. Allen, age 70 of Falls Creek, PA died Friday, October 25, 2024 at his home. Born on July 30, 1954 in Steubenville, OH, he was the son of the late Carl and Edna Mae (Vincent) Allen. On April 18, 2009 he married Patti (Sprague) Allen. She survives. Terry had worked at the Area Transportation Agency, in maintenance at the DuBois Regional Medical Center and at WCED Radio. He was a member of the Church of Our Savior, and loved his cats. Along with his wife, Terry is survived by two brothers (Denny Allen and Dwayne Allen, both of Wintersville, OH, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one brother (Keith Allen), one sister (Sheila Fredericks), and brother-in-law (Ralph "Lee" Fredericks). There will be no public visitation and a funeral service will be announced at a later date. Burial will take place in Beechwoods Cemetery.   13. Terry C. White, age 72, of DuBois, PA died Thursday, October 24, 2024 at his residence. Born on February 13, 1952 in Indiana, PA, he was the son of the late Daniel C. and Lorraine M. (Cochran) White. On June 16, 1973, he married Janice M. (Zamperini) White. She preceded him in death on October 6, 2014. Terry received an Associate Degree in Respiratory Therapy from Allegheny Community College and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Administrative Sciences from the University of Toledo. He worked as a respiratory therapist and cardiopulmonary specialist for over 30 years. Terry worked the majority of his career at the Toledo Hospital and the DuBois Regional Medical Center. Terry was a longtime volunteer for the American Red Cross. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and his younger years was an avid runner. Terry is survived by his son, Brian M. White of DuBois, PA, a daughter, Lori A. Unice and her husband, Ken of Pittsburgh, PA, and four grandchildren, Kaden, Keira & Keegan Unice and Baylee White, one brother Gary White, and two sisters, Pamela Nichols and Deanna Mitchell. He was preceded in death by his son, Jason D. White. There will be no public visitation. A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 4, 2024 at 11 a.m. the Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc. with Pastor Terry Felt officiating.   14. Cloy M. Beck, age 92, of Pittsburgh, PA, formerly of Luthersburg, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 25, 2024 at her home. Born in Luthersburg, Pennsylvania on April 17, 1932, Cloy grew up fully immersed in country life. She often shared stories of growing up on the farm, polka and square dancing, and family gatherings. At the age of 20, she married Alvin Beck. The newlyweds waltzed their way to Upper St. Clair, just south of Pittsburgh. Here they raised their four children, Barbie, Martha, Joe and Kim, instilling values of patience, resilience, and kindness that have become her family's lasting legacy. Cloy was a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, cherished for her feisty personality, quick-wit, and unique sense of humor. She had a special gift for crafting beautiful creations with just yarn and a crochet hook. Her handmade gifts of love and artistic expression will continue to brighten the lives of her family and friends forevermore. Cloy loved her family more than anything. She also enjoyed reading, word search puzzles, lively games of dominoes, westerns, and answering game show questions faster than anyone else in the room. For many, Cloy will be remembered for her years as a spirited bartender at the Beadling Sports Club where she worked for twenty-five years. Cloy was more than an employee; she was a friend and confidante who loved helping others, and worked to shape the club's place in the community, by volunteering, and helping to organize social events like the annual corn roast, Christmas party, and soccer banquets. Cloy helped so many in the community, she made Beadling feel like a home away from home. Cloy is survived by her children, Martha Soltrick, Joseph (Molly) Beck, Kimberly (Greg) Heckler, 8 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin Beck; daughter, Barbara Craig; and son-in-law, Dennis Soltrick. A visitation will be held on Friday, November 1, 2024, from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at the Baronick Funeral Home and Crematorium Inc. A celebration of Cloy's life will be held on Saturday, November 2, 2024, at 11 AM from St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Luthersburg, PA with Patricia Miller officiating. Burial will be in Luthersburg Union Cemetery. All are welcome to attend and share their memories. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of the donor's choice in Cloy's honor.   15. Rita M. Freemer, age 99, of DuBois, PA, died Tuesday, October 22, 2024 at the DuBois Nursing Home. Born on October 1, 1925 in Johnsonburg, PA, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Gladish) Freemer. Rita retired from Calliari's Bakery after 17 years of service. Prior to that, she had worked at Zappia's Bakery for 45 years. She was a member of St. Catherine of Siena Roman Catholic Church for 66 years and a member of the Altar Rosary Society. Rita loved baking, especially baking pies. Rita is survived by her children Beverly Aughenbaugh and Phillip Freemer (Danita) both of DuBois, PA, six grandchildren, and thirteen great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one sister (Doris Gilbert) and two brothers (Thomas and Donald Freemer).   16. Charles F. “Fred” Barr, age 73 of DuBois, PA died Monday, October 21, 2024 at his home. Born on March 13, 1951 in DuBois, PA, he was the son of the late William J. and Rosalie L. (Seyler) Barr. Fred served in the United States Army Reserves for 20 years. He was the owner/operator of Barr Wholesale for 42 years. He was a member of Salem United Methodist Church, the George D. Montgomery American Legion Post 17, and the Joseph Warren Lodge 729 Free and Accepted Masons. Fred is survived by numerous cousins.   18. Gerald R. “Jerry” Wallace, Jr., age 69, of DuBois, PA passed away peacefully on Friday, October 18, 2024 at Christ the King Manor surrounded by his loving family after a brief illness. Born on August 31, 1955 in DuBois, PA, he was the son of Gerald R. Wallace, Sr. who survives and lives in DuBois and Helena M. (Caruso) Wallace. His mother preceded him in death. He was a 1973 graduate of the DuBois Area High School. Jerry was a veteran of the United States Navy having served during the Vietnam War, on the USS Vreeland. Jerry was a plumber by trade. He worked for many years alongside his father, and also for himself. Jerry’s hobbies included golf, golf, and more golf. He enjoyed many sports, especially baseball, football, and NASCAR. He was a true car enthusiast. Jerry’s pride and joy was “Gertie”, a 1966 G.T.O. which he, by himself, did a complete restoration. He enjoyed Fridays at camp with the “boys”, hunting and snowmobiling. If you ever had an opportunity to eat one of Jerry’s “kitchen creations”, you know what an amazing cook he was. His friends will emphatically tell you that there was no truer friend, a man you could trust completely and have the best laugh with due to his quick wit and his unique sense of humor. Many of his friends considered him a “brother” because of the close, personal bond they shared. Along with his father, he is survived by his two sisters (Angela Wallace of Fountain Hills, AZ and Brenda Wallace of DuBois, PA).   19. Vincent Edward Anderson, age 90, of DuBois, PA died Thursday, October 17, 2024 at Mountain Laurel Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center. Born on October 12, 1934 in Weedville, PA, he was the son of the late Carl F. and O. Elizabeth (Beck) Anderson. On June 27, 1953, he married his wife of 71 years, Jane Ann (Cook) Anderson. She survives. Vince was a 1952 graduate of the DuBois Area High School. Vince retired from Johnson Motors as a salesman after 25 years of service. After retirement he continued to worked at Johnson's as a driver. Previous to that, he worked at V.T. Smith Dairy for 29 years in the capacity of a milkman, manager, and later as owner/operator. Vince was a member of Christian and Missionary Alliance Church in DuBois where he was very active in church affairs. He served as church treasurer for over 40 years, was an elder, served on the Building and Planning Committee, and was a Sunday school teacher. He had served on the Board of Directors of Penn State DuBois, the DuBois Area Chamber of Commerce and Goodwill Industries. Vince enjoyed playing volleyball with his wife well in to his 70's, hunting, fishing and traveling. Above all, he loved spending time with his family. Along with his wife, he is survived by his five children (Vincent E. Anderson, Jr. (Janet) of Reynoldsville, PA, Cindy L. Westlake (Dennis) of Indianapolis, IN , David A. Anderson (Rebecca) of Plainfield, IL, and Lori Anderson and Daniel C. Anderson (Tami) both of DuBois, PA), nine grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by three sisters (Florence Wales, Vivian Martin and Gretta Waite), and one brother (Vernon Anderson). Visitation will be held Friday, October 25, 2024 from 10 a.m. until 11:45 a.m. at the DuBois Alliance Church.   20. Edward Vincent Toney, age 68, of Chesterbrook, PA, passed away on October 9, 2024 at Paoli Hospital in Paoli, PA. Edward “Ed” was born on June 21, 1956 in DuBois, PA. He was the son of Anna Jane (McCluskey) Toney, who survives, and the late Edward Richard Toney. Ed graduated from Central Christian High School as valedictorian and continued his education at Pennsylvania State University earning Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Electrical Engineering, receiving high academic awards and graduating with highest honors. His career accomplishments included developing simple but elegant electrical solutions for projects and control systems at Brockway Glass, IBM, Texas Instruments, Merck, and Wall Data. Ed received special recognition awards for his exceptional work achievements. Ed served as an officer of the Knights of Columbus, St. Isaac Jogues Parish in Wayne, PA. He also served on his Condo Board Association and Parcel One Trust Board. Ed was a most beloved son, brother, uncle and friend. He was known for his gifted intelligence, thoughtfulness, generosity, kindness and helpfulness. He also had a very special group of friends that supported him as extended family during his courageous battle with cancer. Ed is survived by his mother (Anna Jane Toney) and 4 siblings: Julie (Toney) Delia and her husband, Robert of Horseheads, NY; Susan (Toney) Vavra and her husband, Paul of Sugar Land, TX; Anna Marie (Toney) Baalbaki and her husband, Riad of Berkeley, CA; and Stephen Paul Toney of DuBois, PA.   21. Bernard S. “Bernie” Kostic, age 79 of DuBois, PA died Monday, October 7, 2024 at his home. Born on December 14, 1945 in Punxsutawney, PA, he was the son of the late Stephen and Kathryn (Brudnock) Kostic. On June 29, 1974, he married his wife of 50 years, Judith E. (Good) Kostic. She survives. Bernie was a graduate of the Punxsutawney Area Highs School and went on to receive of Bachelor’s Degree in Education from the Indiana University of Pennsylvania and a Master’s Degree in Education from Clarion University. He retired after over 30 years from the DuBois Area School District as a social studies teacher from the DuBois Area Middle School and C.G. Johnson Elementary School. Bernie was a member of St. Bernard Roman Catholic Church in Falls Creek where he was active in church affairs. He was an active member and Past President of North Fork Chapter 29 Society for Pennsylvania Archaeology and was a member of the Jefferson County Historical Society, and the North American Breweriana Society. Bernie also was an avid hunter, enjoyed golfing, loved his garden and above all, was devoted to his family. He is survived by his son, Michael Kostic of Doylestown, PA and his sister, Beverly Ferguson and her husband Ron of DuBois, PA.   22. Josephine “Jo” Andrulonis, Age 89, of DuBois, PA died Monday, October 7, 2024, at Christ the King Manor. Born on March 8, 1935, in DuBois, PA, she was the daughter of the late Ralph & Martha (Cardamone) Cimino. On September 1, 1956, she married Leonard Andrulonis at St. Catherine of Siena Roman Catholic Church. He preceded her in death on July 6, 2016. Jo attended Sandy High School and graduated in 1953. In 1990, Jo retired from Brockway Glass Manufacturing after 25 years of service. She was a member of the former St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church where she had been a member of the Ladies of St. Joseph and volunteered for the Outreach Dinner Program for 13 years. Jo also loved spending time with her family and grandchildren. Baking was her passion and she was known for her amazing apple pies. Jo is survived by her three children: David Andrulonis (Sandy) of Dayton, Ohio, Karen Francis (Patrick) of Cranberry Twp., and Julie Quashnock (Bill Lenz) of Dubois. Also surviving are grandchildren: Stephanie Lincoln (Chris), Chad Andrulonis (Bekah), Lindsay Francis Santiago (Alde), Melissa Heinbockel (Mark), Suzanne Boren (Jeff), Mary Beth Bolam (Pat), Jill McGrail (Gary) and thirteen great grandchildren. Jo was also survived by a lot of special nieces and nephews. She was known as “Aunt Jo Jo”. She is also survived by sister-In-law and brother-In-law, Susan and Sam Samick; and sisters-In-law, Marilyn Andrulonis and Mary Riley. She was preceded in death by two sisters Anna Serafini and Dolly Hieronimus; and three brothers, John, Louie, and Mike Cimino.   23. Richard L. “Dick” Weichman, age 85 of DuBois, PA died Monday, October 7, 2024 at Christ the King Manor. Born on February 2, 1939 in St. Marys, PA, he was the son of the late Charles and Genevieve (Rigard) Weichman. On August 6, 1960 he married his wife of 57 years, Elaine M. (Alloway) Weichman. She preceded him in death on January 30, 2018. He retired from Riverside Division of Penn Traffic as a grocery buyer after more than 40 years of service. Dick was a member of the George D. Montgomery American Legion Post 17, the Falls Creek Eagles and the Olympic Athletic Club, where he served as secretary/treasurer for many years. He was an avid bowler, loved to play Cinch, hunt, and especially enjoyed going to deer camp. Dick is survived by his five children (Jan Sedor and her husband Jeff of DuBois, PA, Jeff Weichman and his wife Joy Sue of Glencoe, AL, Joy Kepple and her husband Ken of Treasure Lake, PA, Jon Weichman and his wife Shelley of Homosassa, FL and Jackie Hartzell and her husband Jeff of Brookville, PA), thirteen grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, numerous great-great grandchildren, siblings (Ann Wehler, David Weichman and his wife Dorothy, Michael Weichman and Jean Becquet and her husband Dave, all of St. Marys, PA).   25. Bradley Alan Douglas, age 61, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 2, 2024 surrounded by family. He was born on December 25, 1962 in DuBois Pennsylvania. Bradley is survived by his mother Lorraine Douglas whom he made his home with for the past 61 years. He is also survived by his sister Kim Clark and her husband Steve “Bubba”, niece Danielle Melillo and her husband Matthew, nephew Dillon Lindenmuth and his wife Stephanie, and his great niece Emmerson Melillo. He is survived by several aunts, Sandy Tomb and her husband Gordon, Paula Delp and her husband Doug, Georgian Carter and her husband Robert and his uncle, Bill Fortunato and his wife Nancy. He is also survived by numerous cousins. Brad’s love for sports began in 1982 when he became a Silver Medalist at the National Special Olympics. Brad was honored by his hometown for his accomplishments and was selected the 1983 Grand Marshall of the Brockway July 4th parade. Brad was a longtime staff member for the Brockway Youth and Jr. High football programs. He also spent many years involved with Brockway Little League. For his contributions, he was named the 2011 Brockway Sportsman of the Year. Brad was a staple figure at all Brockway sporting events and would often be found in the middle of the Brockway Rover Marching Band. He continued his love for sports by following the Steelers and his Penn State Nittany Lions. He loved to fish with his uncles, watch WWE wrestling with his cousin, drink Diet Coke, and had a knack for collecting hats. Brad was loved by a community who opened their arms and called him family. He was preceded in death by grandparents Armando and Violet Fortunato. Visitation will be held Sunday, October 6, 2024 from noon until 3 PM at the Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc. A private funeral service will be held.
