Administrators Pompeii Posted February 11, 2018 Administrators Share Posted February 11, 2018 Richard C. Travers, age 62 of Maple Ave., DuBois, PA died Friday, February 9, 2018 at his home. Born on March 9, 1955 in New Castle, PA, he was the son of the late Steven N. & Caroline “Jo Anne” (Braden) Travers, Jr. Dick was the owner and operator of DuBois Taxi Service. He was well known in the area as a sprint car racer. He had a heart to match his size and was exceptionally generous. He will be missed by all. He is survived by his brother (Stephen N. Travers, III) and 3 nephews (Jordan Travers of Portland, OR, Jake Travers of Tallahassee, FL, and Spencer Travers of Caldwell, NJ. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 14, 2018 from 6-8 p.m. from the Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc. A private funeral service will be held. Memorials may be placed with Feed the Children, P.O. Box 36, Oklahoma City, Ok 73101.
