Rauch Updyke, Age 67 of Sher-de-lin Road, DuBois, PA died Tuesday, July 3, 2018 at The University of Pittsburgh Medical Center Shady Side Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA. Born on June 30, 1951 in Clearfield, PA, she was the daughter of James P. & Marjorie L. (Young) Rauch. Her father preceded her in death and her mother survives and lives in Clearfield, PA. On February 14, 1971, she married Everett O. Updyke. He survives. Kathy was an administrative assistant for the Area Transportation Authority. she was a member of the Tri County Church, the Sandy Hose Company # 1 Fireman's Club, and the Polish Citizens Club. she had served on the Board of Elections in the West Sandy Prescient for over 20 years. Kathy is also survived by her son (Justin Updyke and his companion Teri Hirsch of Clearfield, PA) 5 siblings (Rick Rauch& his wife Tina of Clearfield, PA; Terry Rauch of Clearfield, PA; Sandee Condon & her husband Leland of Clearfield, PA; Diane Rowles & her companion Darrin Swanson of Curwensville, PA; and Dawn Askew& her husband Tom of Houtzdale, PA) and 6 grandchildren. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her daughter (Jennifer Updyke). There will be no public visitation and services will be held at the convenience of the family.
