Essie M. Quinn, Age 82, of DuBois died on Monday, July 30, 2018 at the DuBois Nursing Home.

Born on January 28, 1936 in Cushing, OK, she was the daughter of the late Bud Ravia and Lena Pruitt Easley.

Essie married Robert Quinn. He preceded her in death January 22, 2009.

She retired from the City of DuBois where she worked as a code enforcement officer. After retirement she worked part time at the Best Western and Hampton Inn. She also catered many events at Tommy D's, and she along with her husband Robert, was the owner and operator of DuBois Sport & Trophy on South Brady Street. Essie also served as a City of DuBois councilwoman. She had served on the Board of Directors for the DuBois Nursing Home was a volunteer for the American Red Cross and was on the election board of 4th Ward in DuBois. She was most proud to be one of the original organizers and promotors of the Tom Mix Festival in DuBois.

Essie is survived by her brother; Les Easley & his wife Rhoda of Crystal Beach, FL and 4 sisters; Carol Hatem & her husband John of Lincoln, CA, Bonnie Bristow & her husband Bob of Weldon, CA, Helen Andrew & her husband Keith of Weldon, CA and Mary Hall of Cushing, OK.

She was preceded in death by 3 brothers; Everett Easley and Thomas & Robert Ravia, and her sister Erval Franse.

There will be no public visitation.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 3, 2018 at 11 AM from the Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc. with Msgr Richard Siefer officiating.

The Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc. is in charge of the arrangements.
