Lockwood, Sr., age 70 of Luthersburg, PA died Wednesday, March 10, 2021 at the Pittsburgh VA Medical Center. Born on July 1, 1950 in DuBois, PA, he was the son of the late Earl and Mabelle (Lyle) Lockwood. On February 28, 1970, he married his wife of 51 years Helen M. (Schoening) Lockwood. She survives. Ed was a veteran of the United States Army having served in the Vietnam War. He had worked in the maintenance department at the DuBois Mall for many years. He enjoyed working on his vehicles and loved to go fishing. Above all, he loved being with his family. Ed is survived by his children; (Tammy McCall of Luthersburg, PA, Lisa Overbeck and her husband Eugene of Luthersburg, PA and Edward Lockwood, Jr. & his wife Renee of DuBois, PA). 9 grandchildren; (Amanda, Derick, Daren, Dustin, Tonya, Richie, Teira, Edward III and Eleya), 2 great grandchildren; (Grayson and Mariah), 1 sister (Betty Smith of DuBois, PA) and 2 brothers; (Don Lockwood of DuBois, PA and Richard Lockwood of Tennessee). He was preceded in death by 2 daughters; (Melissa Morris and Crystal Lockwood), 3 brothers; (Robert, Gary & Harry Lockwood) and 2 sisters; (Gertrude Edwards & Beverly Lockwood). Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 13, 2021 from 11:00 AM – 12:30 PM at the Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc. Social distancing requirements will be followed and masks are required. We ask that you keep your visit brief so that others can pay their respects. A private funeral service will be held with Pastor Terry Felt officiating. Full military honors will be accorded by the members of the DuBois Area Honor Guard. Burial will take place in Luthersburg Union Cemetery.
