DuBOIS - An open house for the former Maple Avenue Hospital, DuBois will be held from 1-3 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 9, from 1-3 p.m. at PH DuBois East. The oldest part of the hospital - that just turned 100 in October - will be coming down in the near future to make way for an expansion. Behavioral Health Services areas are in the newer part of the hospital and are not affected.
Self-tours are available with signs made with help from the DuBois Area Historical Society to make signs to mark areas and a few of the past staff members will be around to visit.
Anyone with photos to share are encouraged to bring them. A space will be set up to copy photos for possible display in the new building.
