Event details

The Sandy Lick Mountain Dulcimer Players will make a return visit to the Clearfield Center for Active Living on Wednesday, January 23, at 11:00 AM.  The group led by Virginia Schott will play several songs for the local seniors using the mountain dulcimer, auto harp and the tin whistle.  Guests are encouraged to sing along to favorite familiars such as: “She’ll Be Comin’ Round the Mountain” and “Amazing Grace.”

Sandy Lick Mountain Dulcimer Players have been playing together for over 8 years and offer dulcimer classes for newbies and beginners.

Lunch will be served following the presentation.  If you plan to stay for lunch, please call Connie Harris at 765-9319 by 9:00 AM that morning to reserve your spot.  Guests under the age of 60 will have a minimal charge for lunch; a donation will be accepted for anyone over the age of 60.

For additional information on the Sandy Lick Mountain Dulcimer Players, contact Ginny Schott at 814-371-4627 or e-mail:  ginnyschott@gmail.com.
