Mountain Laurel
Mountain Laurel is Pennsylvania's state flower and perhaps the most beautiful of native American shrubs.

The Laurel Fields, located in Clear Creek State Forest, is your best bet to see these beautiful flowers in full bloom - Late May to Mid June.

The first Laurel Festival was held in 1936 and became an annual community event featuring entertainment and crowning of the laurel queen. Today, in Historic Brookville, the Laurel Festival continues with many traditions and includes an entire week full of events for all ages to enjoy.

The 14-mile Fat Tire Challenge Mountain Bike Race and the second annual Beartown ROCKS Trail Race are both happening on June 15th for a multi-sport dimension to your race day.
