2 Day sojourn from Hallton to Clear Creek and Clear Creek to Cook Forest Aug 17-18

EVENT DETAILS
Paddlers will be transported upstream to Hallton and float downstream to Clear Creek State Park where they will camp overnight. On the second day of the sojourn, participants will paddle from Clear Creek State Park to Cook Forest State Park. Upon conclusion of the sojourn, everyone will be shuttled back upstream to Clear Creek State Park. A variety of educational programming will be incorporated into the weekend’s schedule.

Registration 8am at the Clear Creek State Park Canoe Launch.

Saturday
9am shuttles depart to launch site.
9:40am shuttle arrive at the Hallton Canoe Launch.
10:30am Sojourn begins.
12:15pm-6pm Presentations along the river with rest breaks.
6pm Dinner at Clear Creek.
8:30pm-9:30pm Dusk Campfire Social.

Sunday
8:30am Breakfast.
10am-11am Presentation, Explore.
11am Launch Day 2
12:15pm-5 Rest break, presentation, take out supper at Cooksburg Canoe Launch.
5:30pm Shuttle back to Clear Creek State Park.
