The Clearfield County Area Agency on Aging, Inc. will be offering the PDA Evidenced -Based Program, Healthy Steps in Motion (HSIM), for Clearfield County residents age 50 and older.
The course will be held on Mondays and Wednesdays from 9:15 AM - 10:15 AM for eight sessions, beginning September 23 and ending October 16. Each workshop starts with a warm-up, which is followed by strength and balance exercises and concludes with a cool down stretch.
The class is designed to
o prevent falls and injuries resulting from falls
o introduce methods to reduce falls
o increase awareness of risk for falls
