The volunteers of BUDS Gardeners will again be holding their annual Plant Sale at the former Charlie’s Alternators, now Kurt Johnson Auto Sales, on Tuesday, June 8, till Saturday June 12, from 11-6 daily except Saturday when it will close at 2 pm.
Our own seedling plants are all grown in handmade biodegradable paper pots which means NO PLASTIC to pollute. All plants have been raised organically with no chemicals, period! There are over 2000 plants available with more that can be ordered later in the summer. Check our website at www.budsgardeners.com after June 20 for details.
While we do not normally raise finished garden flowers, we will have a few this year.
All plants are for a donation which will be applied to projects in the DuBois area. We also help other groups with educational and beautification projects. Education in Horticulture is our main goal. We teach how to grow healthy soil and food.
Meetings are held at the First United Presbyterian Church on High and Scribner in DuBois on the first Thursday of every month at 7 pm. There is a light supper and an educational program. You do not have to be a member to attend and enjoy the evening.
