Haven House Shelter provides a safe place to live for those in our area who find themselves homeless. In a loving and supportive environment our guests are enabled the find the help and resources they need to make a new beginning in life.
Our annual concert, Performing Hearts, will take place on Friday, November 7, 2014 at 7 p.m. at Lakeside United Methodist Church. This year the concert will feature music of celebration and worship presented by The Shelter Band, from DuBois, and 40 Days, from Brookville.
Since the beginning in 2006 Haven House has provided temporary shelter to 634 people which translates into 17,500 nights housing and 35,000 meals served. We are happy to say that 90% of our guests successfully make a new beginning and do not return to Haven House.
