Lynn Elizabeth Flanders, of DuBois, Pennsylvania, was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and friend. She died February 13, 2021 at age of 73.


She was born to Robert and Mary Jean (Hacker) Hahn on June 9, 1947 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Lynn met her future husband, Dan Flanders in high school and they were married for over 50 years.


Lynn graduated as a registered nurse in 1968 from the McKeesport School of Nursing. She worked as a registered nurse for 20 years but ended her working career early because of developing Multiple Sclerosis (M.S.).  Lynn battled M.S. for 40 years and survived breast cancer.


Lynn was particularly proud of supporting the National M.S. Society and helped originate the M.S. Walk in DuBois.   She was also an avid reader and enjoyed her local book club.


Lynn is survived by her husband Dan, their children Sean Flanders and spouse Vicki and Cullen Flanders and spouse Amy, grandchildren Skye, Peyton, Wynter, Madyson, Hannah, Ethan, Dylan, Emma, Elizabeth, and Noah, and great-grandchildren Westyn, Kayden and Beckytt.  She is also survived by brother Tim Hahn and spouse Olivia and sister Leslie Bitner and spouse Terry.


As per Lynn’s request, there will be no public visitation or funeral service.
