Administrators Pompeii Posted February 17, 2021 Administrators Share Posted February 17, 2021 Mary C. Stagi, age 91 of Penfield, PA died Tuesday, February 16, 2021 at Christ The King Manor. Born on February 27, 1929 in White Station, PA, she was the daughter of the late John and Sophie (Friday) Olewnick. She married Richard Stagi, Sr. He preceded her in death in September of 1993. Mary had worked as an activities aide at Christ The King Manor. She was a member of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church in Force, PA where she had served as a Eucharistic Minister. Mary is survived by 1 son (James Stagi and his wife Terri of Great Falls, VA), daughter-in-law (Linda Stagi of Yuma, AZ),4 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by 1 son (Richard Stagi, Jr.), 3 brothers (William, John and Leonard Olewnick) and 5 sisters (Ann Daris, Viola Olewnick, Betty Peters, Aileen Feldman and Irene Swaney). Due to our current circumstances there will be no public visitation. A Mass of Christian Burial from St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church in Force, PA will be announced at a later date. Burial will take place in St. Joseph Cemetery, Force, PA. Memorial donations may be made to St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, 17735 Bennetts Valley Highway, Force, PA 15841.
