Felix J. Trainor, Age 79 of Treasure Lake, DuBois, PA died Saturday, May 29, 2021 at Penn Highlands Jefferson Manor in Brookville, PA.

 

Born on October 7, 1941 in New Castle, Indiana, he was the son of the late Felix R. & Mary E. (Levrington) Trainor. He graduated from New Castle Chrysler High School in 1959. He attended Notre Dame University, then later Ball State University earning a Bachelor of Science degree in 1964.

 

On December 26, 1960, he married his wife of 60 years, Patricia J. “Patty” (Allen) Trainor.  She survives.

 

Felix retired from the sales department at Triangle Auto Springs after 25 years of service.  Previous to that, he worked in his family owned business, Trainor National Spring Company in New Castle, IN.

 

He was a member of the former Treasure Lake Lions Club, attended Treasure Lake Church and enjoyed golfing and reading.

 

He is survived by 4 children (Deborah Kalgren & her husband Denny of Richardson, TX; Jennifer Kuhn & her husband Tom of Tonganoxie, Ks; Felicia Bonebreak & her husband Jim of St. Charles, IL; and Felix J. “Jimmy” Trainor of New York, NY). 5 grandchildren, 1 brother (Paul Trainor & his wife Suzette of Florida), and 1 sister (Anne Karagiannia of Texas).

 

Visitation will be held on Friday, June 4, 2021 from 4-6 p.m. at the Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc.

 

A private family funeral service will be held.

 

Memorials may be placed with the DuBois Public Library, 31 South Brady St., DuBois, PA 15801.
