Martin F. “Butch” Kucharski, age 73 of DuBois, PA died Sunday, February 6, 2022 at his home.


Born on December 12, 1948 in DuBois, PA, he was the son of the late John S. Kucharski, Sr. and Victoria “Vicki” (Rokosky) Kucharski. His mother survives and lives in DuBois, PA.


Martin was a 1966 graduate of DuBois Central Catholic High School.


He was a veteran of the United States Army serving as a military policeman during the Vietnam War, and then served with the 629th Transportation Unit.


Martin had been a Pennsylvania State Constable and was most well known for working for Zappia, now Calliari’s Bakery for over 36 years.


He was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church where he had been an usher. He also had been a member of the DuBois Lions Club.


Martin is also survived by his nephew Michael J. Kucharski and his wife Megan of Punxsutawney, PA and his sister-in-law Linda Kucharski of Punxsutawney, PA.


He was preceded in death by his brother John S. “Jack” Kucharski, Jr.


Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 9, 2022 from 5 PM -7 PM at the Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc.


A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, February 10, 2022 at 10 AM from St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church with Msgr. Richard Siefer as celebrant.


Burial will be in St. Michael Cemetery.
