Administrators Pompeii Posted February 11, 2022 Administrators Share Posted February 11, 2022 Rita W. Thot, age 93 of DuBois, PA died Thursday, February 10, 2022 at her home. Born on March 6, 1928 in Pittsburgh, PA, she was the daughter of the late Michael & Mary (Haas) DePaolo. On July 10, 1947 she married Jack Thot. He preceded her in death. Rita was a homemaker. She is survived by two daughters (Marie A. Pasterick of Belle Vernon, PA and Jacqueline Ruscitti of DuBois, PA), 6 grandchildren (Eugene Pasterick, Jr., Kelly Pasterick, Shawn Pasterick, Jennifer Pasterick, Joseph Ruscitti & Jody Ruscitti Sommer), and 6 great grandchildren (Julia Ruscitti, Brendan Sommer, Joseph Ruscitti, Samuel Ruscitti, Alyson Ruscitti & Sydney Pasterick). She was preceded in death by 4 brothers and 2 sisters. There will be no public visitation. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, February 15, 2022 at 10 AM from St. Sebastian Church in Belle Vernon, PA with Father Michael Crookston as celebrant. The Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
