Administrators Pompeii Posted May 10, 2022 Administrators Share Posted May 10, 2022 Norma Gearhart Spadaro, age 90 of DuBois, PA died Thursday. May 5, 2022 at Penn Highlands DuBois Hospital. Born on August 9, 1931 in DuBois, PA, she was the daughter of the late Norman E. and Vera B. (Leilich) Gearhart. On January 16, 1954 she married her husband of 57 years, Roland L. “Louie” Spadaro. He preceded her in death on December 30, 2011. After she married Louie they moved to Buffalo, New York where she lived for 52 years before returning back to DuBois. Norma was a homemaker. She was a very caring and kind person who loved to spend time with her family. Norma is survived by her son (Dominick Louis Spadaro of Newport, NC), a daughter in law (Mary Spadaro of Hebron, KY), two grandchildren (Dominick Spadaro, II and Leanne Spadaro), one great grandchild (Sydney Spadaro), as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son (Roland L. Spadaro, Jr. who died in March of 2020, four brothers and one sister. Norma was the last surviving member of her immediate family. As per Norma’s wishes there will be no public visitation or funeral service. Burial will follow in Morningside Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice. The Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc is in charge of arrangements.
