Barbara J. Ross, age 69 of DuBois, PA died Sunday, May 15, 2022 at her home.


Born on December 17, 1952 in DuBois, PA, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Grace (Lucore) Novitsky.


On September 5, 1969 she married Ronald D. Ross, Sr. He survives.


Barb had worked as a Customer Service Representative for First Commonwealth Bank for many years and later retired as Senior Loan Officer from Priority First Federal Credit Union in DuBois, PA.


She was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church where she was a member of the Rosary Infant of Prague Society, served as a Lector and as a Eucharistic Minister. Barb had also been very active in the former St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church.


Barb enjoyed working in her flower garden, traveling, and loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.


She is survived by one daughter Carolyn Taylor and her husband Timothy of St. Marys, PA, one son Ronald Ross, Jr. and his wife Anne Marie of Akron, OH, and six grandchildren (Timothy, Jr., Michael, Caitlyn, Andrew, Hannah and Brandon).


Barb was the last remaining member of her immediate family.


She was preceded in death by two sisters (Frances “Fran” Marshall and Carol Teddick).


Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 18, 2022 from 6 – 8 PM at the Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc.


The rosary will be prayed at 5:15 PM from the funeral home.


A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Thursday, May 19, 2022 at 10 AM from St. Michael Roman Catholic Church with Msgr. Richard Siefer as celebrant.


Burial will take place in St. Joseph Cemetery.
