(Lawton) King, age 84 of DuBois, PA died Saturday, October 29, 2022 at Highland View Healthcare and Rehabilitation. Born on March 4, 1938 in Providence, RI, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Mary (Brown) Lawton. She married John “Sonny” King. He preceded her in death on October 30, 2021. Beverly had worked for the Rhode Island Department of Motor Vehicles for 35 years. She is survived by her step children; Valerie Buchman & her husband Thomas of Port Crane, NY, John King and his wife Maureen of Falls Creek, PA, and James King of Johnson City, NY, two sisters; Virginia Giannillo of North Kingstown, RI and Velma Lawton of Warwick, RI, and one nephew, Mark Giannillo of East Greenwich, RI. There will be no public visitation and funeral services are private. Burial will take place in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Providence, RI The Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc is in charge of arrangements.
