Marc A. Andruk, age 54 of DuBois, PA died Monday, March 27, 2023 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital.

Born on December 13, 1968 at Whiteman Air Force Base in Knob Noster, MO, he was the son of the late Gilbert J. Andruk and Toni Clark-Moulthrop. His mother survives and lives in DuBois, PA.

Marc moved to DuBois from Kansas in 2017. He joined the workforce of Welcome Home Centers in Brockway.  Out of all the occupations he held, carpentry was what he loved most. It was at this place where he became a craftsman.  It was his best fit. He loved the people there and they loved him.

When Marc clocked out of work, he loved spending his time with family.  He adored his daughters and son; they were his proudest accomplishments. His two young grandchildren made Marc’s heart smile and they completed his happiness. Marc made many friends over his lifetime. One in particular, Vincent Ercolani, was like a second brother to Marc.

Marc had many loves, especially his children and grandchildren. When he wasn’t being Mr. Mom, he really enjoyed playing video games, writing poetry, reading comic books (Batman was his favorite, by far). He loved watching football, preferably the Rams.  Most of all Marc loved listening to music – from Carly Simon to heavy metal (KISS Army Forever \../).

Having grown up in New York, he had an animated way of expressing himself – especially in traffic. Marc had an incredible natural sense of humor. He was hilarious! He will be profoundly missed.  We love you, Marc!

Marc is survived by his children (Kayla Andruk of Levinworth, KS, Joseph Andruk, Emilee Andruk, Victoria Andruk, and Gabriella Andruk all of DuBois, PA, two grandchildren (Tyrone Goodwin, Jr. and Gideon Goodwin), and his stepfather (Michael Moulthrop).

There will be no public visitation and a service will be held at the convenience of the family.

The Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc. is in charge of arrangements.

As per Marc’s wishes, please make a donation in his memory to any local animal shelter and/or rescue organization.
