Administrators Pompeii Posted April 28, 2023 Administrators Share Posted April 28, 2023 Donald J. Morelli, age 88 of Brockport, PA died Monday, April 24, 2023 at his home. Born on June 2, 1934 in Dagus Mines, PA, he was the son of the late Tulio and Mary (Corn) Morelli. On December 31, 1952, he married his wife of 70 years, Josephine W. (Lockwood) Morelli. She survives and lives in Brockport, PA. Donald retired from Owens Brockway as a supervisor after 37 years of service. He was a member of the Moorhead United Methodist Church in Brockway, PA and the Sons of Italy in Brockway, PA. Donald enjoyed hunting and gardening, but above all, he loved spending time with his family. He is survived by his son (Paul M. Morelli and his wife Diana of Brockport, PA), his daughter (Susan E. Homan and her husband Kenneth of DuBois, PA), four grandchildren (Lori and Andrew Morelli, Emmy Homan and Michele Vanish), and four great grandchildren (Joseph, Tiffany, Cameron and Sorren). Donald was preceded in death by three brothers and four sisters. A private family funeral service was held on Friday, April 28, 2023 at the Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc. with his son, Evangelist Paul Morelli officiating. Burial was in Wildwood Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
