Jacquelyn F. “Jackie” Bowers, age 91 of Reynoldsville, PA died Monday, June 5, 2023 at Penn Highlands DuBois Hospital.


Born on June 22, 1931 in Reynoldsville, PA, she was the daughter of the late Bernard and Viola (Palaggo) Fusco.


Jackie retired from S & T Bank in Reynoldsville as Assistant Branch Manager after over 20 years of service.


She was a member of St. Marys Roman Catholic Church where she was a member of the Rosary Society and the Catholic Daughters of America. She was also a former volunteer for the American Red Cross Blood Mobile. Jackie enjoyed reading, bingo, gambling and going out to eat. She looked forward to any social gathering, and always wore her “bling”.


Jackie was a devoted mother, and Nonnie. She had great faith in God and always held concern for her family and friends. She shared in their sorrows as well as their triumphs.


Jackie is survived by her children (Debbie Lyle and her husband Tim, Diane Flock and her husband Doug,  and David Bowers and his wife Beth, all of Reynoldsville, PA), eight “favorite” grandchildren Carrie Webb (Dave), Ryan Lyle (Blanca), Michael Flock (Ali), Andrew Flock (Emily), Nathan Flock (Maitland), Shannon Blakley (Ben), Joshua Bowers (Kristy) and Nicholas Bowers, nine great grandchildren (with three more on the way) Parker, Blanca, Hadley, Kennedy, Blake, Rocco, Connor, Morgan and Memphis, a sister-in-law Madeline Fusco; nephews Steven McDonald, Scott McDonald and Marc Fusco, and many very special cousins and friends.


She was preceded in death by her parents, infant son Michael, sister Christine McDonald, brother-in-law John McDonald and brother Francis L. Fusco.


There will be no public visitation.


A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, June 17, 2022 at 10 AM from St. Marys Roman Catholic Church in Reynoldsville, with Father Edward Walk as celebrant.


Burial will take place in St. Marys Cemetery.


Memorial donations may be made to the Reynoldsville Public Library, 460 East Main Street, Reynoldsville, PA 15851.


The Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
