Administrators Pompeii Posted June 11, 2023 Administrators Share Posted June 11, 2023 Vickie Lois Motherwell, Age 76 of DuBois, PA died Saturday, June 10, 2023 at her home. Born on July 14, 1946 in DuBois, PA, she was the daughter of the late James M. Harriger and Delores (Gaudino) Harriger Gresak. On October 4, 1969, she married her husband of 53 years, Donald R. Motherwell. He survives. Vickie was a homemaker and retired in 2007 from Clearfield-Jefferson Mental Health Center. She was a member of St. Catherine of Siena Roman Catholic Church and enjoyed traveling, crafting, and reading. Vickie loved her iPad but, above all, she loved spending time with her family, especially her granddaughter, Piper. She is survived by her two daughters (Stacy Heberling & her husband Ryan of Avondale, AZ , and Jennifer Elkins & her husband Jason of DuBois, PA), a granddaughter (Piper Elkins), a sister (Debbie Schloder of DuBois, PA), and two brothers (Mike Harriger & his wife Sylvia of San Antonio, TX and John Gresak & his wife Rose of Brockway, PA). She was preceded in death by her brother-in -law, Bill Schloder. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 14, 2023 from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, June 15, 2023 at 10 a.m. from St. Catherine of Siena Roman Catholic Church with Msgr. Richard Siefer as celebrant. Burial will follow in Morningside Cemetery. Memorial donations can be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105, and/or Hahne Cancer Center, 100 Hospital Ave., DuBois, PA 15801.
