Administrators Pompeii Posted June 15, 2023 Administrators Share Posted June 15, 2023 Alfred L. “Al” (“Nib”) Stoddard, Sr., age 86 of DuBois, PA died Wednesday, June 14, 2023 at his home. Born on November 3, 1936 in DuBois, PA, he was the son of the late Easton and Cora (Marsh) Stoddard, Sr. On November 1, 1958 he married his wife of 64 years, Judy E. (Hoskavich) Stoddard. She survives. Al had worked as a flagman for H.R.I. in State College, PA for 32 years. He was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church. “Nib” was a member of the National Wild Turkey Federation (NWTF). He enjoyed bowling, hunting, fishing, woodworking and spending time with his family. Along with his wife Judy, “Nib” is survived by three sons (Lee Stoddard and his wife Connie, Brian Stoddard and his girlfriend Glenda and Chris Stoddard all of DuBois, PA) and one daughter (Karen Troyan and her husband Michael of Centre Hall, PA), seven grandchildren (Kyle, Andrew, Nicki, Brianna, Erin, Bethany, and Ethan Stoddard), four great grandchildren (Wyatt, Layla, Amelia and Milo), one sister (Alberta Harbridge and her husband Ted of Niagara Falls, NY). He was preceded in death by three brothers (Easton, Jr., James and Kenneth Stoddard) and one sister (Dolly Hand). Visitation will be held on Monday June 19, 2023 from 4 – 7 PM at the Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, June 20, 2023 at 10 AM from St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church with Father Edward Walk as celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Michael Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church, 118 South State Street and/or the Hahne Cancer Center, 100 Hospital Avenue and/or DuBois Area Catholic School, PO Box 567, all in DuBois, PA 15801 and/or NWTF, 770 Augusta Road, Edgefield, SC 29824.
