Administrators Pompeii Posted June 23, 2023 Administrators Share Posted June 23, 2023 Susan L. Porrin, age 57 of Falls Creek, PA died Thursday, June 22, 2023 at Penn Highlands DuBois Hospital. Born on February 11, 1966 in DuBois, PA, she was the daughter of David and Nancy (Emerick) Porrin, Sr. Her father preceded her in death. Her mother survives and lives in Falls Creek, PA. Susan had worked in the Dietary Department at Penn Highlands DuBois Hospital for the past 33 years. She was a member of the Falls Creek Eagles Aerie 965. Susan enjoyed going to music concerts, her favorite band was AC/DC. Susan is also survived by one son (Michael Porrin of Falls Creek, PA) and six siblings (Ronald Porrin and his wife Renee, William Porrin and John Porrin, all of Falls Creek, PA, Sharon Lingenfelter of Reynoldsville, PA, Diana Gilbert and her husband Tom and Ruth Ann Strosky and her husband Tom both of DuBois, PA). She was preceded in death by one brother (David Porrin, Jr.) and one nephew (T.J. Strosky). Visitation will be held on Monday, June 26, 2023 from 2 – 4 PM and 6 – 8 PM at the Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc. A funeral service will be held from the funeral home on Tuesday, June 27, 2023 at 11 AM with Pastor Terry Felt officiating. Burial will follow in Beechwoods Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
