Administrators Pompeii Posted October 26, 2023 Administrators Share Posted October 26, 2023 Patricia L. “Patty” Scott, age 67 of DuBois, PA died Tuesday, October 24, 2023 the DuBois Nursing Home. Born on April 8, 1956 in DuBois, PA, she was the daughter of the late Harold R. and Pauline G. (Snyder) Waite. On February 28, 1981, she married William Scott. He survives. Patty retired from the DuBois Area School District after over twenty years of service. She was member of the DuBois Lakeside Church for over 35 years. Patty loved needlepoint, camping and reading. Above all, she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandson Ryan and granddaughter Genevieve. Along with her husband, Patty is survived by her daughters (Melissa Zorich of Punxsutawney, PA and Amanda Zink and her husband Thomas of Fairfax, VA), three grandchildren, one step grandchild, one sister (Margaret “Peggy” Fremer and her husband George of Brockway, PA) as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Friday, October 27, 2023 from 4 – 7 PM at the Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 28, 2023 at 11 AM from DuBois Lakeside Church with Pastor Brett Dinger officiating. Burial will take place in Beechwoods Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to DuBois Lakeside Church, 420 First Street, DuBois, PA 15801.
