Galentine, age 76 of Reynoldsville, PA died Sunday, October 29, 2023 at Penn Highlands DuBois Hospital. Born on June 14, 1947 in Luthersburg, PA, he was the son of the late Albert and Adda (Thomas) Galentine. On June 14, 1970 he married Lucy (Wall) Galentine. She preceded him in death in 1992. Earl retired in 2021 from Johns Garage in Brockway, PA after 33 years of service. Earl’s life was his work, his grandsons and his “granddogs”. He is survived by his two sons (Christopher Galentine of Reynoldsville, PA and Richard Galentine (Sara) of DuBois, PA), two grandchildren (Daniel and Seeley Galentine), and two sisters (Rose Morris of DuBois, PA and Belva Gregory of Chestnut Grove, PA). Earl was preceded in death by one granddaughter (Brianna Galentine) and numerous brothers and sisters. Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 2, 2023 from 2 – 4 PM & 6 - 8 PM at the Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc. A private family service will be held. Burial will take place in Luthersburg Union Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Shriner’s Children’s Hospital, 1645 West 8th Street, Erie, PA 16505 and/or Janet Weis Children’s Hospital, 100 N. Academy Ave., Danville, PA 17822.
