Treva Kezia Murray, age 99, passed away on Saturday, November 4, 2023 while a resident at Christ the King Manor, DuBois, PA .


Born in her family home, September 21, 1924 in Pleasantville, PA. She was the daughter of the late Ralph and Clara (Hoovler) Spence.


She was married to William J. Murray on April 4, 1945 in Titusville PA. He preceded her in death in 2004.


Treva was a graduate of Comstock High School in Titusville PA where she played trumpet in the high school band and remained lifelong friends with her class mates.


She supported her husband’s hobby of trains and together they volunteered with the restoration and opening of the Salamanca Rail Museum. After moving to DuBois, to be near family, they continued their volunteer work at the then named DuBois Senior & Community Center. She enjoyed bowling, loved to play cards, spend time with friends and travel but nothing was more important that her family.


Remaining to cherish memories of Treva are her children, Marilyn (Michael) Green, Sarasota, FL, Marsha Bernstein, Webster, NY, Keith Murray, Rochester, NY, Beverly Wallwork, E. Rochester, NY; grandchildren, David (Brooke) Green, DuBois PA, Brian (Heather) Green, San Diego, CA, Brett Wallwork, Rochester NY; Great-grandchildren, Jackson and William Green, Oliver and Logan Green; and special nieces and nephews.


Treva was the last of her generation. She was preceded in death by her two brothers James and Joseph Spence.


Graveside service at the convenience of the family at Fairview Cemetery, Pleasantville, PA. Memorials may be made to American Diabetes Association at www.diabetes.org/diabetes/donation.


The Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
