Administrators Pompeii Posted December 28, 2023 Administrators Share Posted December 28, 2023 Andrew Pierce Wilson, Jr., age 93 of DuBois, PA died Saturday, December 23, 2023 at Christ the King Manor. Born on October 7, 1930 in DuBois, PA, he was the son of the late Andrew Pierce Wilson, Sr. and Mary (Rebling) Wilson McKee. Andrew was a veteran of the United States Air Force having served during the Korean War. On July 21, 1962 he married Beverly Jean (Swan) Wilson. She preceded him in death on October 14, 2014. Andrew was a graduate of California State University. He worked for the Duquesne Light Company in Pittsburgh as a payroll supervisor for many years. He is survived by one daughter (Lisa Schmidt & her husband Alan of Mesquite, NV,), four grandchildren (Joshua Lavery and Justin Lavery and his wife Bailee, and Alyssa and Jacob Schmidt), and one great grandson (Dylan). Along with his wife and his parents, Andrew was preceded in death by one brother (Ronald Wilson). There will be no public visitation and a private family funeral service will be held. Interment will take place in Morningside Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Dementia Unit at Christ the King Manor, 1100 West Long Ave., DuBois, PA 15801.
