Administrators Pompeii Posted January 3 Administrators Share Posted January 3 James R. Roy, age 69 of DuBois, PA died Monday, January 1, 2024 at his home. Born on January 9, 1954, in DuBois, PA, he was the son of the late Anthony and Marian “Mert” (Lott) Roy. Jim was a veteran of the United States Army. He was a 1971 graduate of DuBois Area High School. Jim enjoyed fishing and loved NASCAR Racing. He was a talented artist. He is survived by his siblings (Thomas E. Roy & his wife Philomena of Rockton, PA, William E. Roy and his wife Donna of Sykesville, PA and Michael B. Roy of DuBois, PA) and numerous nieces and nephews. Jim was preceded in death by one brother Robert Roy. There will be no public visitation, and a funeral service will be held at the convenience of the family. Memorial donations may be made to Scrubmasters, c/o 101 Washington Street, Sykesville, PA 15865. The Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
