Administrators Pompeii Posted February 6 Administrators Share Posted February 6 Earl R. “Tink” Foltz, Age 80 of Reynoldsville, PA died Sunday, February 4, 2024 at Penn Highlands DuBois Hospital. Born on December 29, 1943 in Curtisville, PA, he was the son of the late Irving and Flora (Sample) Foltz. On April 8, 1967, he married his wife of 52 years, Pauline (Leksell) Foltz. She preceded him in death on December 30, 2019. He was a veteran of the United States Navy having served during the Vietnam War. Tink retired from the Brockway Glass Company after many years of service. He was a member of the Reynoldsville American Legion Post 392 and the Reynoldsville Eagles Aerie540. In his earlier years, Tink enjoyed playing softball, golfing, and going to the races. He was the ultimate handyman and mechanic and could fix anything. Tink is survived by two children, (Donna Fye and her husband Patrick, and James Foltz, both of Reynoldsville, PA), 5 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family of 10. He was preceded in death by 5 brothers and 4 sisters. There will be no public visitation and private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Memorials may be placed with Hahne Cancer Center, 100 Hospital Ave., DuBois, PA 15801.
