Administrators Pompeii Posted February 17 Administrators Share Posted February 17 David E. Karoleski, age 73 of DuBois, PA passed away Thursday, February 15, 2024 surrounded by his family. Born on April 18, 1950 in DuBois, PA, he was the son of the late Edward S. and Victoria (Dobinski) Karoleski. Dave was a veteran of the United States Army. He retired from Northeast Great Dane in Lancaster, NY after many years of service. Dave was a member of Holy Spirit Roman Catholic Parish at St. Michael the Archangel. He was also a member of the Independent Political and Social Club, and the Polish Citizens Club. Dave is survived by one daughter (Kristen Richter and her husband William of Amherst, NY), one stepson (Scott D. Karoleski and his wife Tara of Lakeview, NY), two grandchildren (Savannah and Sienna Richter), two brothers (Donald Karoleski of DuBois, PA and Kevin Karoleski and his wife Laurie of St. Marys, PA), one sister (Linda Ogorchock and her husband Michael of Montgomery, TX), and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two sons (Matthew R. Karoleski and infant son John David Karoleski). Visitation will be held on Friday, March 1, 2024 from 2 – 4 PM at the Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc. A funeral service will be held at 4 PM from the funeral home with Msgr. Richard Siefer officiating. Burial will take place in St. Michael Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
