Administrators Pompeii Posted February 19 Administrators Share Posted February 19 Robert K. Gould, Age 86 of DuBois, PA died Saturday, February 17, 2024 at his home surrounded by his family. Born on April 6, 1937 in Washington, PA, he was the son of the late David and Wilda Gould. On May 15, 1961, he married his wife of 59 years, Edna E. (Freemer) Gould. She preceded him in death on June 7, 2020. He was a veteran of the United States Army. Bob retired from Hallstrom Construction after many years of service. Previous to that, he had worked for the B&O Railroad. Bob was a well-known softball player in our area for many years. He had played for Timber Lanes, Telrad, Dario’s, and Hallstrom’s. He was also an avid bowler. He is survived by his children, (Theresa “Tessie” Molnar of St. Marys, PA; David Gould & his wife Sheila of Stuart, FL and Jon Gould & his wife Renee of Stuart, FL), 5 grandchildren; (Robert Molnar, Ashley Alvetro, Sara Hunker and Seth and Kyle Gould), and a great grandchild (Beckett Hunker). He was preceded in death by a brother, (Louis Gould). There will be no public visitation. Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. Memorials may be placed with the Gateway Humane Society, P.O. Box 678, Falls Creek, PA 15840. The Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
