Administrators Pompeii Posted March 5 Administrators Share Posted March 5 Helen R. Cathers, age 82 of Reynoldsville, PA passed away Monday, March 4, 2024 at Christ the King Manor. Born on October 29, 1941 in Winslow Township, PA she was the daughter of the late Glenn and Hazel (Milliron) Cathers. Helen had worked at Rockwell International for 37 ½ years. She was member of the Reynoldsville Presbyterian Church, the Fraternal Order of Eagles-Reynoldsville Aerie 540, was on the Board of Directors of the Reynoldsville Library and was a volunteer at both Helping Hands Food Pantry and the American Red Cross. Helen was an avid Pittsburgh Pirate, Steelers, and Notre Dame fan. She also enjoyed tennis. She is survived by numerous cousins, and her good friends Carol Brodie and the Phil and Tracy Shenkle family. A graveside service will be held on Friday, March 8, 2024 at 2 PM from the chapel at Morningside Cemetery with Pastor Steven Hendrickson officiating.
