Patrick G. Weaver, age 82 of DuBois, PA died Tuesday, October 17, 2023 at Penn Highlands DuBois Hospital. Born on December 8, 1940 in Wandin, PA, he was the son of the late Harry E. and Mary I. (Burnheimer) Weaver, Sr. Patrick was a veteran of the United States Coast Guard. On July 23, 1966 he married his wife of 57 years, Gayle L. (Walters) Weaver. She survives. Patrick retired from CSX after a 35-year career in the railroad industry. He was a member of both the Blue Lodge in Ebensburg and the Jaffa Shrine in Altoona for over 50 years. Patrick enjoyed being outdoors and especially liked hunting and fishing. He is also survived by his children (Brian Weaver and his wife Jennifer of Fayetteville, NC, Sonya Buckley of Atlanta, GA, Scott Weaver of Columbus, OH and Jason Weaver of DuBois, PA), eight grandchildren (Patrick, Tyler, Ethan, Emma, Nathan, Peyton, Ben and Luke), one great grandchild (Amaya), and siblings (Ken Weaver and his wife Sandy of Bellefonte, PA, Gary Weaver and his wife Diana, and Diana Horton and her husband Charlie both of Cresson, PA.) Patrick was preceded in death by two sisters (Wanda Burgan and Marilyn Gregg) and one brother (Harry E. Marcella Catherine Orange, age 90 of Punxsutawney, PA, formerly of DuBois, PA died Tuesday, October 17, 2023 at Mulberry Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Punxsutawney, PA. Born on December 18, 1932 in St. Marys, PA, she was the daughter of the late Adam and Kathryn (Pindroch) Kerchinski. Marcella retired from Mulberry Square in Punxsutawney, PA as a housekeeper after many years of service. Previous to that, she had worked at the East End Laundromat. Marcella loved spending time with her family. She is survived by her children (Larry Shema of Punxsutawney, PA, Linda Waddell and her husband John of DuBois, PA, Andrew Shema and his wife Lisa of Telford, PA, and Donna Raya Auguilera of Gloucester, VA), four granddaughters, three grandsons and one great granddaughter. She was preceded in death by one daughter (Betty Ann Shema Morris), one son (William J. Shema), one brother killed in action during the Korean War, (John Kerchinski) and one sister (Betty Kerchinski). There will be no public visitation.
