Donald B. Wolfe, Age 84 of Sykesville, PA, died Friday, February 3, 2023 at the DuBois Nursing Home. Born on January 7, 1939 in Punxsutawney, PA, he was the son of the late Donald C. & Dorothy (McIntire) Wolfe. He was married to Helen L. (Dunlap) Wolfe. She survives. Don was a veteran of the United States Army. He worked as a driller for Fairman Drilling for over 20 years. After his retirement, Don worked at the Kwik Fill in both DuBois and Punxsutawney. He is survived by 5 children(Terry Wolfe and Brian Wolfe and his wife Lisa, both of Florida, Tammy Travis & her husband Rick of Anita, PA, Melanie Wolfe of Sykesville, PA, and Sherry Park of Punxsutawney, PA); 8 grandchildren (Derek, Aaron, Cody, Jared, Zach, Ryan, Shaylea, & Ashley); 4 great grandchildren; and 3 sisters (Shelda, Nelda, & Sarah Katherine). He was preceded in death by his brother, Kenneth. As per Don’s wishes, there will be no public visitation and all funeral services will be private. Terry D. Kemmer, age 59 of DuBois, PA died Wednesday, February 1, 2023 at Penn Highlands DuBois Hospital. Born on September 27, 1963 in Clarion, PA he was the son of the late Forest and Blanche (Fye) Kemmer. Terry was a 1982 graduate of Clarion Limestone High School and graduated from Triangle Tech with Associate and Specialized Technology Degree in Maintenance Electricity and Construction Technology. Terry worked as a maintenance technician for Sheetz Corporation. He loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing, drinking Miller Lite around a campfire, especially at “Terryland” and the Pittsburgh Penguins. Terry loved being around family and friends and he always had a joke to tell. He was loved by all who knew him and will be greatly missed. Terry is survived by three sons; Kameron, Kolton and Jensen Kemmer, and one step daughter Isabella App, all of DuBois, PA; his fiancé Tammy App, three sisters; Nancy Rimer (John) of Summerville, PA, Debra Whittington (Wayne) of Tionesta, PA, and Denise Bish (Brad) of Clarion, PA, three brothers; Edward Kemmer (Jackie) of Shippenville, PA, Jeffrey Kemmer of Clarion, PA and his twin brother Perry Kemmer (Terri) of Mechanicsburg, PA, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. There will be no public visitation. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 11, 2023 at 1 p.m. from the American Legion Post 17, 315 Liberty Boulevard in DuBois. An additional celebration at “Terryland” will also be announced this summer. Memorials may be placed with the charity of the donor’s choice. Nancy P. Hilliard, age 79 of Troutville, PA died Wednesday, February 1, 2023 at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA. Born on June 24, 1943 in DuBois, PA, she was the daughter of the late Joseph W. and Helen D. (Burkes) Rieg. On July 1, 1967, she married her husband of 55 years, William E. “Red” Hilliard. He survives. Nancy was a homemaker, but had previously worked as a lab technician for 16 years at the DuBois and Maple Avenue Hospitals, and had also worked for 7 years at Sarvey Notary in DuBois. She, along with her husband Red, had been the owner/operator of Hilliard Bus Company. She enjoyed quilting and crocheting, and going to the casino, and the beach. Nancy was also an avid sports fan. Above all, she loved her family and following their many activities. Nancy was always their #1 fan. She is survived by her children; Bryon E. Hilliard and his wife Chrissy, Andrea L. “Andi” Giambanco and her husband Mike, and Erin A. Yoder and her husband Sean, all of DuBois, PA; four grandchildren; Tyler and Jaelyn Hilliard and Haylea and Antonio Giambanco; and one brother Edward T. Rieg of Big Run, PA. Nancy was also preceded in death by four sisters; Janet, Patty, Virginia, and Doris, and one brother John “Jack”. Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 5, 2023 from 1 to 4 p.m. and Monday, February 6, 2023 from 10 a.m. until the time of service at the Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc. A funeral service will be held on Monday at 11 a.m. from the funeral home with Msgr. Richard Siefer officiating. Burial will follow in Morningside Cemetery.
