    Gloria J. Hepburn, age 64 of Penfield, PA died Tuesday, January 17, 2023 at Penn Highlands DuBois Hospital. Born on September 11, 1958 in Clearfield, PA, she was the daughter of the late Emma (Welder) Lansberry. On October 31, 1985, she married Robert D. Hepburn, Jr. He preceded her in death on September 2, 2022. Gloria had worked at Lowe’s Home Improvement for over ten years until she left to raise her grandchildren. She enjoyed gardening, flowers and her pets. Gloria is survived by 2 daughters (Tonya Scruggs & her husband Michael of Brockport, PA and Heather Hepburn of DuBois, PA), five grandchildren (Mercedes, Juliet, & Adrianna Hepburn, and Cody & Austin Scruggs), and one sister Catherine Guiher of Hanover, PA. She was also preceded in death by one sister Nada Duttry. Visitation will be held on Monday, January 23, 2023 from 4 – 7 PM at the Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 24, 2023 at 11 AM from the funeral home with Pastor Terry Felt officiating. Although flowers are appreciated, in lieu of flowers the family would like memorials to be placed with the Penfield Volunteer Fire Department, P.O. Box 53, Penfield, PA 15849.     Rita F. Armagost, age 68 of Punxsutawney, PA died Tuesday, January 17, 2023 at her home. Born on June 27, 1954 in DuBois, PA, she was the daughter of the late Ray and Margaret (Anthony) Manners. On June 22, 1996 she married John R. “Bob” Armagost. He survives. Rita was a homemaker. She enjoyed baking and being with her family, especially her grandchildren. She is survived by her three children; Tammy Randolph, Jeanne Manners and Danny Irwin and his wife Toni, all of DuBois, PA, one brother Mike Manners and his wife Debbie of DuBois, PA, two sisters; Annie Manners of Sykesville, PA and Sue Tiser and her husband Oscar of Lake Arthur, LA, five grandchildren and one great grandchild. Rita was preceded in death by one son; Christopher Armagost. Visitation will be held on Friday, January 20, 2023 from 4 – 7 PM at the Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 21, 2023 at 10:30 AM from the funeral home with Pastor Terry Spencer officiating. Burial will take place in Beulah Cemetery.     Lock Haven Clearfield, MRAAA present 'An Evening Serenade' through Lifelong Learning Institute CLEARFIELD, Pa. - The Allegria Ensemble from the PA Chamber Orchestra (PCO), Central Pennsylvania's all-professional orchestra, will present "An Evening Serenade" in the Multipurpose Room at Lock Haven Clearfield at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, February 17, 2023. This performance is offered through Mature Resources Area Agency on Aging and Lock Haven Clearfield's Lifelong Learning Institute and sponsored by CNB Bank. It is free and open to the public. The Allegria Ensemble is a string quartet made up of violins, viola, and cello, under the direction of Maestro Yaniv Attar. The members of the POC will perform some of their favorite string quartet literature. Seating is limited and those who plan to attend are asked to RSVP to Amy Smeal at ajs23@lockhaven.edu or 814-768-3401. For the past 30 years, the POC has performed both rare and well-known music by the most renowned composers from the Baroque period to the present day. Their season features world-class soloists, and includes a series of orchestral concerts, an annual holiday concert, several chamber music concerts, and more.
