  12. Glenn Franklin Wolfe, a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather, passed away peacefully at home on April 27th, 2024, in DuBois, Pennsylvania. He was born in Ebenezer, New York, on October 11th, 1935. Glenn’s life was marked by his Christian faith and love of family. Raised in East Brady, Pennsylvania, he inherited a strong work ethic and carpentry skills from his father, Frank Glenn Wolfe. His mother, Mary Ethel (Schaffner) Wolfe, instilled in him his discipline and values, taking him to church and piano lessons. As an East Brady 'Bulldog,' Glenn found joy in the high school band and basketball. During the Korean War, Glenn served his country as a United States Marine. He started his professional career as an engineer for Owens Illinois in Clarion. In 1957, he exchanged vows with his beloved Nancy Cochrane in East Brady, marking the beginning of a life together that spanned 66 years. Together, they raised two children, Pamela Russell (Andy) and Lynn McBride. Glenn moved his family to Fort Lauderdale, Florida in 1963. After a career at Harris Corporation, he started a new business designing computer circuit boards. For over 30 years, he remained an active member of First Baptist Church of Fort Lauderdale, playing piano for Sunday School and for the Fort Lauderdale Christmas Pageant. Glenn and Nancy also enjoyed their time playing tennis at Lago Mar Country Club in Plantation, Florida. In the early 2000s, Glenn and Nancy returned to Pennsylvania, settling in Treasure Lake, DuBois. They joined Treasure Lake Church, where Glenn continued to serve through his music and construction talents, enhancing the church and bringing joy to its members. His weekends were often spent volunteering at local nursing homes, playing piano for its residents or refurbishing antique train cars. Glenn and Nancy have been blessed with five grandchildren they love dearly: Mitchell, Sarah, Mary Kaitlyn, Hannah Aughenbaugh (Jesse) and Franklin, and one adored great grandson, Kael. Glenn's unwavering faith in Jesus Christ remained steadfast throughout his life. He leaves behind his loving wife, Nancy, and a legacy of faith, love, devotion and generosity which he practiced throughout his life with others. His was a life well-lived and deeply treasured. May Glenn’s memory continue to inspire those who knew and loved him. As per Glenn’s wishes there will be no public visitation and a celebration of life will be held at the convenience of the family. Armando Leonardo Moreno aka Cholo, 21, served as a soldier in a transnational criminal organization and conspired with other organization members on or around Sept. 13, 2021, to kidnap a subject from an El Paso stash house. On Sept. 16, 2021, the subject was found deceased in Las Cruces, New Mexico, with multiple gunshot and stab wounds, according to court documents. Co-defendants Michelle Karen Avila, Ruben Pimentel and Ricardo Matthew Gutierrez were previously sentenced. Avila was sentenced to 60 months in prison, Pimentel was sentenced to 108 months, and Gutierrez received a 135-month sentence.
